Our stay here was amazing! Every time I book a hotel I'm always looking for stains, dirt, and leftover trash but did not spot a single thing out of place. The hotel provided shampoo, conditoner, body wash, and lotion was also more than enough for my partner and I. Although a little short, only going 4 and a half feet down, the pool was amazing too! My partner and I had an amazing time here and plan on coming back here again when we have the time. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, we were able to chekc in 3 and a half hours early! I was initially sad check-in was at 4pm at the earliest but I called and said I could check in by 12:30 if I wanted to.

Very good stay. Clean, tidy. Restaurant food and service was extremely good. Well recommend and has locked underground parking, worked well for a motorcycle trip.

Everyone there was soo friendly and Evelyn working at kiosk was really friendly. So were the checkin employees. The nice gesture of water and cookies was exceptional. We will be back. It felt comfortable and clean.

Wow! This refurbished hotel from Doubletree is the place to stay in Santa Ana or if you need a night near the airport. Completely refurbished from top to bottom. The staff is super helpful and pleasant which a lot of hotels have lost sight of. They have a shuttle to and from the airport so I dropped my rental car off since my flight was in the morning. There is no free parking and it seemed to be only valet so be prepared for that. Bed was super comfortable with nice new sheets and pillows. I ate at the bar and had a burger which was good. They also have a pool and gym but I didn’t use either. If you’re unsure where to stay and you’re looking at this review, just book it. Five stars.

We love the cookies of course. No matter what time or day, the front desk was helpful to accommodate us. Despite the ongoing construction and events that went on in the hotel, the staff was very patient and friendly with us. It was a bit difficult to find parking when there was an event especially when we are paying a daily fee for it. I hope there will be some regulation on that for guests and non guests. Or better parking.

Cleaners were consistently good. Staff on entry were pleasent. Downfalls were the awful parking but also driving around in the parking lot to try and find some to only be told when we call we have to come up at 11pm at night to get a code from the lobby. Bearing in mind I had a 3 year old asleep in the car to only go up and be given a code that they could have handed to me over the phone. Also, the water was being shut off for maintenance during our stay which was frustrating as we had to schedule our activities accordingly. Limited options at the cafe ( ran out ).

I stay a lot of places. This location was sub par at best. Rooms are dated. Restaurant closes early. Bar is only open until about 10. Over-priced for amenities offered. They charge $27/night for parking (even for paying guests) which was completely full on my last night and forced me to park somewhere else with no offer from the hotel for the inconvenience. No other options are provided for parking other than paying for it. Staff seemed unconcerned with any situation that was brought to their attention. Not to mention that the hotel is under renovation. This location should be skipped. Try other locations in the area. Needless to say, I will not be booking here again. Could have saved some money for same result at local budget locations.

I had purchased breakfast with my stay, but no one gave me the coupons upon checking in. When we went down for the breakfast they told me I needed the coupons or I would have to pay. I went to the front desk and asked for the coupons since I had paid prior and they gave me extra coupons for my inconvenience. The lady at the front desk was very kind.

The check in staff was super friendly. The waitress and waiter at the restaurant gave very good service. The lady that cleans the rooms was always nice and smiling when you see her. I would stay at this hotel again.

The room was lovely and comfortable. We liked the full sized shampoo and soaps in the room. The room was a good size and comfortable. The lobby was undergoing some repairs, and the two elevators got a bit confusing.

Has some small cons but overall a good hotel to stay. Staff was very friendly. Rooms are outdated but that doesn’t matter. Things were clean. We stayed during construction which was a bit inconvenient as there is no elevator from ground parking to lobby so you have to take stairs and go outside and around to the lobby. Pool and gym are nicer than expected. Big cons for me were the pillows. They were so tiny I’ve never had pillows like that lol. No vent / fan in the bathroom so it gets muggy easily. Big one for me was no mini fridge and being on vacation you have leftovers from takeout or want to buy some groceries but you can’t cause it’ll go bad. Also parking is extra, $27 each day which is crazy and racks up! Shower worked well but the shower curtain was broken at the top and made out of fabric which made it feel dirty and gets soaked. Again overall good place to stay but a few small things. The pillows and mini fridge being the main thing. Oh! And the garbage cans are so small they fill up in one second and they aren’t big to fit things. I don’t understand that never seen ones like it. But was comfortable and clean and got a free cookie upon arrival!

I was not told that this property is under renovation. At first the receptionist wanted to put me in the 2nd floor which the construction was near. Not warm people at first . But there was an exemplary guy named Miguel who works in the restaurant was amazing to let us know that we can get our tea since no one replenished our tea and coffee in the room. The sink was clogged. I have to leave my room for two hours for them to unclogged. Miguel introduced me to the owner’s owned wines called Trinitas which is good. The red wine is dry but good. Love the white wine as well. Christopher the bartender/ waiter was good with his job entertaining all customers and serving good food. Gym is small but good for a thirty minutes workout daily on weights. Margarito out driver was good to tell me what is good places to go after my meetings in the area. The construction in the place makes inconvenience but most people there are quite nice and helpful.

This hotel was AWFUL. I will never stay here again. The property was undergoing major renovations which was not disclosed to us at the time of booking. The elevator from the parking garage was not accessible for us to use so we had to climb many flights of stairs everytime we needed to get back to our room. The hotel rooms were dirty and outdated, the air conditioning did not work and wouldn’t get below 75. We found cockroaches in our room, the room was never cleaned in the 4 nights we stayed there and it was never offered to be. This place was a nightmare. Very disappointing considering it’s a Hilton property.

In spite of flooring renovations, the hotel was fully functioning and very comfortable. I look forward to returning and seeing the finished product.

Friendly and helpful staff. Undergoing some renovations at this time. Somewhat annoying. Rooms a little outdated . Poor ventilation so the rooms smelled stuffy.

The property is currently being remodeled so
There was quite a bit of Construction related inconvenience (elevators not working, daily changes in route to front desk, etc). The room was in need of updating as well as there were spots on the carpets and furniture and things looked worn. I assume that will all be replaced in the remodel process.
The hotel is located in a nice area, and has walkable restaurants, salons, etc. We also had our dog with us and they were pretty dog friendly (other than the nightly charge 😊).

I do not recommend this hotel. The shower was warm but made for someone under 5 feet tall. The bed is SO soft that my back went out. The whole place is under construction and a mess. The carpet is old and needs to be replaced - the tile in bathroom is chipped.

The stay was terrible. Neither the hotel DoubleTree nor Hotels.com mentioned that the entire hotel was under full renovation. All hotel amenities (like the restaurants) were shut down and loud construction was going on both days. Terrible customer service and the fee was full.

We lost an item in the hotel. The house keeping personnel had picked it up. We asked the front desk for assistance and they reached out to house keeping, who still had the item and returned it to us. We were really thankful for the integrity do the staff.
