We booked a 2 night stay. When we got there the AC wasn’t on, it was 11pm and 100 degrees outside. The beds were terrible, we decided in less than an hour that we couldn’t stay there for 2 nights. We checked out first thing the next morning. The person working told us to contact Hotels.COM for a refund of the following night. Hotels.COM told us it was up to the hotel. The hotel rejected our request for a refund. Everything in the hotel was outdated and just made us feel unclean. We also was checked in by a man in his PJ’s. Had my husband not been there I would have felt uncomfortable. We will never go back.

This is an older property and is being fixed along the way, but it was clean and that is the bottom line for me. Staff was amazingly friendly and full of information… again older facility but little steps in the works would stay again

Very quiet even if a little outdated. It has that old pool smell to me. Beds are rated a negative 10. Very hard and uncomfortable. Super clean, just super uncomfortable. We didnt stay the entire length of our booking due to this. By night 3, i was done for and so were my husband and son. On to the reason I was most dissatisfied...we checked out early therefore we should get a refund for any unused days. Expedia is a joke.... they said contact the property. Property says tuff, contact Expedia. Needless to say, we arent gwtting our refund on this mediocre, uncomfarotable, smelly place. Oh, wipe down down the backs of the doors and around the handles where people touch. There shouldnt be hand prints or brown areas where peoples hands go. Its unsanitary.

Not the greatest but will do if there's no other choices in the small area, The in room coffee situation is horrible, they don't give you a big enough pack of coffee to make the 4cup maker, not enough cream or sugar, not enough shampoo, No conditioner, Better take all of your own supplies cause there ain't enough for two people of anything. other wise, it was ok but more of a motel 6 for a choice motel price.

It was clean. Could use some work. TV didn’t work and bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way. Otherwise, nice stay.

Don’t go here. seriously, the front desk is no help, like locks the door and doesn’t answer the phone, absolutely zero help!!!

Liked the forested area around the hotel. Staff was "interesting". Hotel is older and in need of some repairs

Had to find a place in Glenwood for a family gathering. I picked the Riverwood, while many of the family picked Ouachita Mountain Inn. I was very disappointed with our room and would suggest others stay at Ouachita Mountain Inn. Our bathroom had mold on the ceiling, paper-thin walls (worse I have ever experienced), and for some reason, they packed all the guests in rooms right next to each other so you were sure to hear the other guests. Ouachita Mountain Inn didn't look as "nice" as the Riverwood from the pictures, but trust me, it is a better motel (and cheaper too).

Nice and affordable place beautiful remodeling going on outside. The gentleman at front desk was very helpful in our rockhounding choices.

Our room was very nice and clean... Gave fresh towels every day... Disappointing that there was no breakfast whatsoever

Family trip to the mines. They need a designated smoking area although i was told just outside the rm... Beds need updating, the king I had was extremely hard.

Would not recommend. The guy running the place is very snippy and rude. The room was not cleaned very well, the bathroom was dirty. The walls are very thin, we could hear everything going on in other rooms.

It was within distance of our objective.

This was a convenient property with a lovely pool. The ac was cold all night. The staff was loud! at 10 am. Front desk called at 10:18am to ensure we would be out by 11. How rude!! We had a late night and needed our rest. We were out by 1050. Get a life!!

People were not helpful, we had to go get what we need, there were spots of something on the sheets, they said they were just worn they had several complaints about them. Ask for washcloths, one was very stained or just dirty and one thread bare it was so worn out. Flies everywhere.

It was very clean inside and out and exceeded our expectations. We were only staying one night because it was close to something we were doing the next day and then traveling further. I had read a review that said it was a no frills place to stay but we were pleasantly surprised at the comfort and service we received. The gentleman who checked in was very nice and have me alot of helpful information about the mine we were going to visit. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here after floating the Caddo River. It was very close to our drop off at Lucky’s. The room was clean, and I liked that there was no carpet. However, the walls are very thin and we could hear the people above us walking around pretty clearly. Just fyi, the beds are FIRM. It was fine for me since that’s my preference, but may be an issue for others.

Every thing was fine. The rooms could use some remodeling.

We arrived at midnight the, guy was very nice even tho i woke him up. Room was clean, beds were firm but not uncomfortable. It was the best motel in town by far. Good place to stay. Only complaint was the second night we had loud drunken neighbors. And we could hear them plain as day. But over all it was a good stay and would stay there again

Asked to move, they said they’d let us know then a couple hours later said if we wanted to move, we’d have to be there in 30 minutes. We couldn’t make it happen. We had to run the noisey fan to sleep. Very unprofessional and not very accommodating. Outlets at the sink were wore out and wouldn’t hold the cord. The toilet was loose and felt like it was going to tip when you sat on it. There was chunks of dried soap scum in the bath tub.

The property was clean and the room was clean. Stayed for a night while visiting my Neice and her family. Wasn’t expecting much but it was very nice. Will stay here again next time we visit.
