Front Desk staff helpful and friendly

I didn't like that Expedia showed me one rate to stay at the hotel and then calculated the rate using my Key Cash rewards. I looked again today and the hotel was $20 lower mid-day I booked at 5pm and they acted like it was full price $101 and used my $30 of key cash to get it down near the advertised price. They also advertised breakfast and we chose it for that reason but when we got there they said it was closed for remodeling and no breakfast. That was a terrible disappointment. I couldn't get a customer service representative to refund the unauthorized use of ?Key Cash back to my account. He did give me a Key Cash amount for the non existent breakfast once he called to confirm it wasn't available. There was a hair on the sheet and some dirt so I asked for a replacement which took some time to get the front desk guy eventually brought me one to change it myself. All the linens were super cheap. the room was decent it had recently been remodeled. Don't trust Expedia now. Show one price and charge you another.

Front door not fitting properly,floors not clean,front door had no latch, bed noisey no phone connection , bath tub not installed properly leans to one side numerous paint defects,

After checking in, we were given a room that already had someone in there, then they gave us a room that was full of sheets and housekeeping carts. We didn’t even end up staying at this motel because the room we finally went in to smelled so bad.

Scetchy neighborhood on a very busy (noisy) street. Online property description stated it was newly renovated. Could have fooled me! I knew we were in trouble when I saw the condition of the door to our room. It looked like a police battering ram had been used on it then painted over. The interior wasn't much better. Bottom line? You can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear.

Definitely a stay if you are low on funds, if you value your money go somewhere else, the front desk guy was cool as hell but the rooms had stains all over and just not up to any standards

It was a place to spend the night. The room seemed clean in general and did not smell bad. But the sheets on the bed were very wrinkled liked maybe someone else had slept on them. When I got out of the shower and grabbed a towel from the what was supposed to be clean towels - it was extremely dirty and still damp from the last person. Glad I only paid for one night.

You could really tell that this was an older motel. The rooms were clean. It seems like this motel was being used as a long term stay. A lit of out of town service type folks staying here. I dont know if some of the foom cleaning personnel lived in motel but they seemed a bit on the creepy side. Overall the hotel was ok and served its purpose. A clean place to sleep while we did a mini vacay.

Website said outdoor pool, and free breakfast. They did not have either. I had to request a coffee maker and hairdryer, which they went and got from a sister hotel. BUT, Rames provided excellent customer service.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. But, there is NO BREAKFAST and NO POOL!

It was dirty! It advertises a pool but there is no pool. It advertised a breakfast but there was no breakfast!

Positives: Room appeared to have had some recent renovations which was nice. Clean new white sheets and towels. Bathroom recently updated. No bugs except flys that flew in when you opened the door (hotel can’t control that). Negatives: The room overall was clean but fingerprints and other marks had not been wiped off doors or walls that had been recently painted. The small coffee machine/tray sitting on bathroom counter had not been moved and cleaned under for quite some time. I moved it off the counter to make more room since I wasn’t going to use it. There were crumbs and something sticky holding it to the counter. Check in was a little frustrating. The front door sticks like it is locked. We could see someone inside sitting at the front desk. After we knocked and jiggled the doors a few times we figured they must be on a break or something. After waiting for 15-20 minutes my husband went around to the side window where she was sitting and trapped on it. She told him the door was not locked but we just didn’t push hard enough. Sure enough it was unlocked but you really had to jiggle it and push hard for it to open. Checking in she maybe said 3-4 words to us and acted angry and annoyed we troubled her. When we checked out 2 days later it was same girl. She did say 2 words to us. Thank you with no smile or expression. Hope we didn’t inconvenience her too much.

The posting indicated a pool and free breakfast. The pool is filled in with concrete and there was no breakfast. Lots of oil field traffic and workers. They were loud, but seemed to go to bed early. Room was nice and clean, water pressure is spectacular. Would not have booked if we knew there was no pool.

Bed was comfortable

Pillow was kinda hard, but other than that, nice place. No breakfast though. Definitely renevated recently.

Simple and clean. About 30mins to Carlsbad Caverns NP and and hour to Guadalupe Mountains NP

Bring your earplugs, noisy highway and ac unit! No breakfast, but at least a coffee maker in room. Room smelled good. Lock on door was very hard to engage. I would stay again for the price as this area gets expensive.

This "newly renovated" establishment is still a work in progress. On the positive side, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was fine, the Wifi was excellent, and the microwave and refrigerator were in good working order. On the negative side, although it is listed as providing a continental breakfast, there was none provided and the coffee maker in the office was out of order. The cable service was rudimentary and slow and did not provide any local stations so one could not watch the world series or Jeopardy or the NPR news hour for example. When I returned from dinner, I was unable to close the door to the room. I discovered this was because screws were falling out of one of the door hinges. When I removed the screws, the door then could be closed. Missing minor amenities that are normally provided by hotels in this price range include a box of tissues in the bathroom and a clock radio. One of the lamps had only a single bulb that flickered on and off.

My son and I stayed there because there was a pool according to the ad. Well, what a disappointment to my son....no pool. Also advertises a continental breakfast. Not even that. No coffee even. What a complete disappointment. Didn't get what I paid for!

This property says they have a pool, ice machine, breakfast NOTHING WORKED!! The rooms floors were filthy! Dirty,sticky carpet trash from previous people left on the floor The bed sheets were clean.

Ok for last minute stay and reasonable price. No free breakfast despite information provided through/from booking website.

Nice except online they didn't mention that they stopped free breakfast, so i thought they still have free breakfast, they should takw it out from their promotion, since they don't offer it anymore

Front desk staff was helpful and nice. I know this is a cheap stay but it can still be cleanly. Housekeeping is not doing their job. There were beards hairs on the facet, appeared to be blood or something red and dried on the floor, room had a weird smell, and the carpet felt grimy under your feet. Also the remote to the tv did not work. Cheap stay but not worth it because of the lack of cleanliness.

This place is totally disappointing . When we got into our room it was poorly cleaned. The AC unit was dirty as well as the bathroom. When we complained we were told no more rooms available, but clearly the parking lot was not full. The ad on Expedia says newly renovated, but it is currently being renovated. So you can expect construction noise late and early. The Expedia ad also stated a pool, but the pool is filled with concrete and has been for some time. Expedia also lists continental breakfast and 24 hour attendant, both which are false. I don’t recommend
