Beautiful area, wonderful staff - very helpful and friendly

The hotel may have been nice once upon a time. But you can tell it is no longer. Definitely not worth the price. Not sure if it’s a lack of staff or just outdated but I highly don’t recommend. It was supposed to be a relaxing getaway it gave me more anxiety I left a night early.

I understand this facility has been under new ownership in the last year. The accommodation was fine, but the restaurant menu offering was ridiculously limited in its offering, so much so that we did not eat there but went into the nearby village (Knolton) where we found a decent menu selection.

Great location, folks were nice but facilities are sloppy when it comes to details. For example, water from shower went all over bathroom. Trim around light fixture in bathroom was poorly cut out. Nice big window but bugs on and spider webs need to be cleaned.

The lobby and the room I stayed in was clean. I pool and hot tub area was not. The hot tub was dirty and had some dirty foam floating in it. The pool area had left over cups from other guest lying around and the lounging chairs had cobwebs. Inside the room, the bed was horrible. Considering there isn't much nearby to eat, we ate at the restaurant in the hotel. It was horrible. I orders the pasta dish. The pasta was very uncooked and the sausage and spinach in the tomato sauce was over cooked. The tomato sauce was sour for my liking, I did not enjoy my food. The waiter was nice and gave us a discount on the meal. Lets just say, checkout is at 11AM, we left when reception opened at 7AM.

Great view and location, close to many attractions. On the minus side, no restaurant in the evening Mondays and Tuesdays!

Easy check in and parking, across from the lake, quiet, large clean rooms. Nice and helpful staff.

Pro: nice location by the lake with a private beach, spacious balconies, comfortable bed Con: Disinterested staff, staff squabbling in front of clients, no dining option, dog treats left behind the room refrigerator, thin floors and so you can hear walking and stomping from room above

We booked a superior room, king bed and lake view. We got an average room, queen bed and view of a swamp and the garbage bins. We close this hotel partly for the attached restaurant but it wasn’t open. We were given a$20 rate reduction which was good but didn’t make up for our disappointment.

Booked a lake view room, but room we got looked over back of property, not the lake. Desk clerks blamed it on Expedia and would not honor request. Hotel was tired and outdated looking. Restaurant was very good for breakfast, but not open for dinner.

The hotel’s location is great for touring around and offers a small private beach on the lake. My room was comfortable and had a lake view. However, the cost of breakfast was too high and I went elsewhere.

Unfortunately, for a better part of the supper, there was only one waiter to serve the whole dining room; he was doing his best and apologizing but 2 waiters would be best. Also, the wine selection was bad, well there was no selection at all, just one kind… The rooms were clean and the staff was nice.
