This was such a cute spot. We only stayed one night but we definitely will need to be back for a longer stay. They accommodated my pillow request.

I attempted to call the property multiple times before our stay to ask questions and no one ever answered the phone. The door to our room would not open with the key card unless you leaned on door using your body weight to open it. There was preset AC in the room so it wasn’t possible to set the AC lower than 72 degrees. I ordered breakfast from a QR code in the room when I went to get our breakfast the front desk told me that the restaurant did not open until 11 AM. Our family was going hiking and I told the front desk person that we would eat the food we ordered for lunch no big deal but that we wouldn’t be back at 11 to get. When returning from our hike I was told that the QR code was from an event and that they did not serve any of those items on their menu. I asked for a refund and I still have not received my money back. They also did not offer restaurant credit. The beds were uncomfortable.

Clean but a bit old. Spacious room. Very limited lobby hours. One cup of coffee in room. No breakfast available.

Rented airstream trailer, which we thought would be a different experience. It was great looking from the outside, but inside a different matter. The bed was a micky mouse arrangement hanging over the edge. You could easily fall out. The windows were broken and couldn't open. The venetian blinds were broken. Had a nice little kitchenette, but no table to eat at.

Large rooms, comfortable bed, easy access, nice pool, BUT VERY SLOW WIFI.

Loved it! The restaurant was good too! Limited menu but the food was delicious! Ice cream and shakes too! And, the welcome cookies were a nice touch at check-in.
Picture is sunrise from our balcony!

We had a large, clean, comfortable room on the second floor. The mattresses on the two queen beds were very firm..The west-facing windows offered a soft morning light and bright sun in the afternoon.
Nothing fancy..Just clean and comfortable.

It’s fun to stay here. The kids love it. The beds could be more comfortable and we would love more towels for both pool and bath. Overall, it is an OK place to stay… there are more comfort rooms around.

OMG,10/10. Love coming here with my family, this is our second time visiting anza Borrego. We were immediately greeted by staff and they had our check in paperwork and keys ready for us. Once we got into our room everything was so clean and pristine. Pool and jacuzzi were so nice but we didn’t get a chance to get in (forgot our swimsuits). It’s so cute and kid/ pet friendly. We will be coming back! Beautiful location as well, lots of flowers in March.

Very cute old western town movie set hotel. Perfect for our trip with the grandkids. The room was comfortable and spacious and the pool was a lovely respite after bloom hunting in the desert!

It is a dark sky community therefore the outside lighing is very dim.
Wildlife is out in the hotel property.

Easy stay in Anza Borrego - comfy bed, climate controlled, mini-fridge plus all the basics. Not the Ritz, but a good stopover to enjoy the local scenery. A few car charging stations would be an appreciated addition.

shower gel was empty but insignificant with overall cleanliness, comfort and spacious room.
restaurant is limited but food was very good. New "kiosk" ordering was challenging but help was readily available.

The property grounds are great. Fun old west theme, tidy and walking trails all around. The Airstream trailer (#51) that I stayed in was a dismal disappointment. Lovely on the outside with good landscaping and a nice seating area with fire pit. Inside was rundown and dirty. Warped flooring, water stained ceiling and walls, filthy carpet, and ripped curtains that didn’t properly close for privacy. The toilet wobbled on the rotten floor…disgusting! This unit should not be rented in its current condition. It needs a complete overhaul.

While we've enjoyed our stay over the years here this time the hotel seems more run down. We had a number of problems in our room (leaking pipes, minifrig, dim lighting). The staff was prompt in fixing the problems. There was an intermittent loud hum throughout the night - some kind of machine turning on/off outside our room. The pool and fitness room were great.

Great home base for exploring. We were in town to rent a Can Am to explore Ocotillo. Liked this place so much we stayed a second night. Marilyn at the front desk is awesome! The burgers were really good. The room was great! We'll definitely be back.

We had a great time at the Palm Canyon Hotel & RV Resort! I took my daughters 10 and 14 to celebrate New Years Eve and to go somewhere we had never been before and get out in nature. We arrived in the evening and we so surprised by how dark it was and how beautiful the stars were. We were greeted by the friendly staff and enjoyed dinner at the restaurant with desert and live jazz music. We finished the evening in the hot tub, and the kids also enjoyed the heated pool. When we woke up we were surprised by the beautiful sunrise and how quiet it was even though the resort was practically sold out. Went for a hike across the street at the Anzo-Borrego Desert State Park. Spent some time in the downtown area and enjoyed the amazing art the community had! We enjoyed a nice quiet evening inside.
Throughout our stay the staff would send texts to make sure we were enjoying our stay.
WiFi wasn’t great which was actually nice for us to focus on not worrying about our devices and just enjoying our trip!
We will definitely be back again! Thanks for hosting us!

Welcoming check-in. Friendly staff. Nice property.

We loved the charming, quirky idea of a resort built like an old west town, especially since the design is both interesting and comfortable. Our room was large and had nice desert views. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The location is ideal, right on the edge of the State Park, with the visitor center a 15 minute walk away. The center of town is equally close. We look forward to returning!

It was a very quiet weekend in the desert and the hotel was largely empty. Check in was ok (though they wouldn't let me check in early without a $30 surcharge, even though the room was very likely ready). They had a band one night in the bar and the restaurant has a decent burger and good milkshake, so that's a plus. But the main pool was freezing cold (and hot tub not really hot). The other pool was warmer but there's not a single lounge chair around it. When you pay a hefty "resort fee" I think it's fair to expect heated pool/s and lounge chairs.

There was a band playing in the dining area which gave us a nice evening of music . Very friendly staff. Room was spacious and clean.

We like the very historical western style of the hotel and yet very comfortable and spacious room. The price is good.

It was nice to stay in Borrego Springs and visit the many sculptures out in the surrounding desert. The dining menu was very basic the the food was great and served by a friendly member of staff. We tried out one of the vintage caravans which was different to the usual places we stay on a road trip and worth doing. Overall a great experience, the flooring and fixtures were in need of some attention and the check in was more a list of what not to do than a welcome, maybe they’ve had trouble in the past but a rather cool reception. Definitely worth trying out a stay and seeing the amazing star field after sunset.

My wife couldn't sleep . And the metal chairs in the room and balcony were uncomfortable.

No outdoor seating for room residents. Chairs in the room not adequate for occupancy. How about a few utensils (even disposable) if they are going to have a microwave and a fridge?

Music, live band.

My trip was solo but definitely great for families. I stayed in one of the rooms and it was very comfortable. Very simple but has everything I needed. Pool and hot tub was great, the room had pool towels already so I could go at my leisure. Only thing I would point out, depending on your group, is that my room had a connecting door and I could hear my neighbors chatting at night and in the morning.

I am doing volunteer work for Anza-BOrrego Desert State Park and leading a hike of 25 people Sunday morning. I asked for late checkout. Around 12 noon. I said I would get over to pick up my husband as soon as the hike was finished at 12 noon. I was told if I am late and it is after 12 noon that I will be charged $10. I said if I am late by 10 minutes? and I was told yes. No very accommodating when there was no one who would be waiting for the room next.

Stayed in a room with 1 king size bed. I love how spacious the room was! Very cozy and comfortable stay. Nice outdoor patio with pool and jacuzzi to relax in.

Was not aware that the bar and restaurant were not open. Luckily, a few restaurants in town were available. Western theme is fun!
