Kim the attendent at check in was very helpful, polite and kind. She is very knowledgeable about the area and happy to help. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Very cozy for family stays.

We stayed for 3 nights,room was ok.we didnt need any room service for a short stay.We went to see the castle on Saturday and bought some souvenirs,when we got home we coulnt find a bag of souvenirs after looking for 2 days i called the Inn and ask if they were found,Of course they were not found .The front desk said they would look again and call me the next day.I called them and of course not turned it.So recheck everything before you leave because you wont see them again.Not very trustful nirs ,after looking

I'm very pleased with my stay. Comfy cozy and relaxing. No it's not the RITZ it's small town comfort. We stayed 2 nights and the staff was amazing and the room was cleaned daily plenty of towels and everything was perfect for us.

Staff were helpful and kind. Room was exactly as described. It was a pleasant stay.

This is a grand place to stay. We were last here 12 years ago when the new owners were just beginning renovations. They've done a wonderful job. Our room was bright, fresh and clean. The young woman at the front desk was very nice. She told me that more fix-ups are planned for the off-season. I highly recommend Capt.'s Inn.

Such a great location. Loved sitting out back by the docks. So close to everything and a GREAT breakfast right in front you can walk to.

Clean quiet will do just fine

Room seemed to be updated but extremely sloppy update. Floor looked ok until you walked on it and it turned my socks black. Needs a scrubbing. Water pressure is terrible. Room smelled damp. Bugs need to be taken out of lights. Needs better maintenance. The bed was very comfortable. Manager was not on duty but did call to discuss after we let the employee on duty know of the issues.

For being a newly renovated motel felt unsafe that the sliding screen door and slidibg glass door dud not lick we were on yhe maun floor did not feel safe . The cleaning people did not clean the room well leaving hair in the sink dud nit replace our towels after showering Staff really did nit want to hear our concerns. We would at least like a portion of our money back that we paid for the room. Unfortunately we will not recommend this motel to anyone the biggest thing was not feeling safe with both doors not able to lock and we want to be compensated. We came ti enjoy time away not ti ve stressed

Hotel was easily accessible from main road. Room had a single cup Keurig coffee maker which was not listed in amenities. Short drive or walk to the bay area (all metered parking). Restaurant next door was great for breakfast.

Very quiet and near Alex Bay. The North Star Restaurant is in walking distance ( seems like on the property). The food and service was great!

Great location, was able to check in early! Will stay again if in area.

I liked that it was removed from activity of riverfront but close enough to walk.

Always love staying here!! Super clean, quiet, and the rooms are well maintained and easy to navigate. Easily a walkable distance from Alex Bay as well and there is even a great restaurant right next to the Inn. We stay here every time we visit and love it! Also convenient parking if you have a boat or boat trailer with you as well!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay August 25-28 2023 it was a lovely place our room was very nice clean. The staff we all friendly and chatted with us when we were outside. We will Definitely return in the future

While you couldn't tell right away the floors were dirty. The didn't look dirty but after walking into the room and steping on the wet bathroom mat, my Mom had just taken a shower, the mat was dirty.

This property is a great stay near a quaint town… Great staff, great location, great price! The pool is a plus but unlike last year when we visited the pool was chilly and in need of vacuuming. We love that we can walk into town and enjoy the shops and sites. We will continue to stay here for years to come and enjoy all that Alex. Bay has to offer!

Homey atmosphere, very clean and friendly staff.

Our bathroom had no counter for personal items or towel bars or hooks to hang wet towels. There was only a desk chair in the room. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and location close to town. The bed was comfy.

My family and I recently stayed at Cap'n Inn & Suites and I must make you aware of the mold situation in our room. There was BLACK MOLD under the air conditioning unit and water was dripping into the room, not to mention the mold that was GROWING on the lampshade. The amount of mold made it difficult for us to breathe with the mildew smell. My husband and I, with our young children in tow, did not want to stay another night, so we decided to cut our losses and leave for home. When we told the receptionist about the mold, she said, "Really? We have had mold problems with other rooms. I don't know why they are not checked more often. Unfortunately, I cannot give you a refund". I did not ask for a refund, but I am not sure how a place can go on charging people for rooms that make it difficult to breathe and are unsanitary. I would not stay here again if someone paid me.

What a nice place! The room was small but very clean and being we weren't in there too much the size wasn't a big deal. It would have been nice to have a table or something to put the suitcase on so ours went on the floor. The grounds were well kept and there were picnic tables in the grassy area in front. The restaurant next door was handy to have nearby and our breakfast there was good. It's a little bit of a walk into town but very close if driving instead. Overall had a great stay here!

When I first got there I was told housekeeping came every day unless a do not disturb sign was hung on your door. -1st day after check in day. housekeeping came, took the garbage and dirty towels. That is all they did. They didn’t make the bed or clean at all. They left me with bath mats instead of towels. I had to have my husband go to the front desk to get towels -2nd day no housekeeping at all. I again sent husband to desk for towels and complain about housekeeping. -3rd day again no house keeping again sent my husband to get towels and complained. -4th day I went in the morning myself to complain to the front desk as now I have slept on the same sheets for 5 nights and have horrible night sweats. The woman was very apologetic and said she would handle it. That night I came back to my bed being made and towels but that was it. Nothing else was cleaned and the sheets were the same sheets. So I went back to the desk one more time. The woman assured me it would be taken care of. So I left to go to dinner only to come back to the same dirty sheets again. Saying something never did anything they told me anything to suffice for the time being, and never followed through on anything they said. The floor was never swept or mopped (laminate floor) so I had to wear my shoes the whole time I was there especially when getting out of the shower so my feet didn’t get dirty. The toilet or shower were never cleaned. I should have just went camping.

I use this hotel primarily for SCUBA diving trips. It's very close to the spots we dive from. The rooms are reasonably priced and clean. If you have any issues at all they are on top of it. This is my hotel of choice in Alexandria Bay.
