Heading home from Alabama. On the road 10 hrs. Found the app. On a hotel travel brochure. Liked that I could lock in a room and price. Not knowing anything about the downtown Louisville area. I did not realize that parking was separate. So I'm not happy having to pay $20 to park my car. We could have continued driving down the road out of town to a different location. So in summary. Liked the app. Once booked, could not change to a different hotel down the road. Didn't like the surprise of paying for parking. This was a spur of the moment transaction. Very nice room. However tv controller would not turn on or off the TV. Had to unplug it from the power cord to turn off. Had to notified the 1 only staff on duty. Who was very busy with check INS. 😕

The hotel was easy to find, had parking garage next door and was just a short Uber to all the downtown dining.

Nice older hotel. Check-in staff was extremely helpful. Bed were comfortable, bathrooms clean, and hot breakfast was nice.

We arrived after midnight and there was someone at the reception to make out check in process easy and quick, same with check. Great stay and so close to downtown!

Everything was perfect, other than the Rower needing to be fixed in the fitness room.

worst breakfast ever

This was one of my best hotel stays. The entire hotel was immaculate including our room. I even left a note for the cleaning lady about how clean it was. The breakfast was also so good! Will be back!

Hotel was very quiet and convenient.

It was a great place to stay during my business conference. Just a short walk to the Convention Center. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed the complimentary coffee and breakfast each morning. And also such a good deal on the nightly rate on Hotels.com

Uneventful. But they are trying to overcharge me. They would not resolve this issue, telling me that I would have to handle it with Hotels.com.

My family, 2 adults and 3 kids, checked into a suite on Saturday. Room was clearly not serviced between guests. (Dried mucus on sheets, hairs on sheets, pillows, counters, etc). We immediately notified front desk. We were given clean sheets to remake ourselves (2 full beds and the pullout sofa). We were told room would be fully serviced the next morning (Sunday). In Sunday, we left the room and returned in the afternoon. Room was still not serviced. Notified front desk and said we’d be added to the list for the next day (Monday). Monday morning we leave the room, return in the afternoon, room is still unserved. Notified front desk, again, and said housekeeping had left for the day. We checked out Tuesday morning. During our stay we had to ask for towels multiple times per day (were given 2 each time for a room full of 5 people), we had to ask for sheets, tissues, even toilet paper. When we left, the dirty sheets from checkin were still in the room, along with bags of trash from 5 people living in a room for three and a half days. Not only was this entire experience unsanitary, there was no attempt from staff to correct an issue over MULTIPLE days. I chose this hotel based on reviews which is why I’m leaving my honest one here. RUN from this hotel. If anything is wrong, staff is not trained to resolve the issues and cleaning is CLEARLY not a priority. I’m scared to image the cleaning issues we CANNOT see. Will never stay here again.

We had an excellent stay. We felt very safe and our room was very clean. There was construction going on but it didn’t bother us at all. We needed a plunger at one point and it was brought to us very promptly. We would stay again for any return trips to downtown Louisville.

The hotel was good but very understaffed - you had to go looking for the reception staff if you needed something or to check out.

Staff is very nice. However did not know this facility was under remodel. No water in room for the first couple of hours due to construction. Did not know that either until trying to shower.

Place was great looking, as you get off the elevator on 4th floor it smelled musty and a little bad. The room was the same and floors were sticky on vinyl and carpet didn’t look or feel clean. We had to use shoes which was bad, as we’re all used to no shoes everywhere we go. Breakfast was good, we liked it. Had some good and bad. Rating on hotel.com should be lowered.

Was a bit concerned about walking from the parking garage to the lobby would seem like there should have been some kind of inclosed connection between

Clean and comfy rooms, and location was perfect for walking around downtown.

Check out isn't until 11AM. However they are remodeling on the floor above my room around 8AM. Most annoying. Now I'm sleeping in my car.

Nice hotel. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy but a few blocks down is good

It was an overall great stay and everything was close by..

Rooms were very nice and the breakfast was good. No elevator service in the parking garage, had been broken for quite some time, which was inconvenient. Garage is leased by hotel. Neighborhood fine to walk around in daytime but I would not at night. Front desk staff helpful. Unfortunately Hotels.com price did not match hotel’s as a tax was not included in Hotels.com pricing.

When we checked into hotel, we weren’t greeted or welcomed. Instead, the front desk employee barked, “Name?” Information was not shared about luggage carts, fitness room, etc. We unloaded car, carried luggage to room, and then returned to car to move to garage. When we returned to room, our key card would not open the door. Back to the unhelpful front desk, back to room…still can’t get in. The front desk employee proceeds to tell us there is absolutely nothing she can do. Left with no other choice, we are forced to wait for the nighttime security guard who can get us in. We had left everything in the room….phones, medications, coats, etc. We were left killing time waiting for the security guard. When he arrived, he was able to charge the door enough to open it ..allowing us to receive our property. He reported that the front desk employee could have done this herself but “shes too lazy.” We were livid. At one point when we asked her for help, we interrupted her Facetiming a friend and enjoying a KitKat bar. Give me a break! We gave feedback to manager who promised follow up but never followed through. Avoid this IHG hotel…..it does not live up to the quality weve come to expect.

12 min walking to the KFC Yum! Center. Location is convenient. Good breakfast. Room was very clean and the hotel seems like new!

Noisy, inside and out.

The entry way is poooorly laid out. We got stuck at the entrance while a few people unloaded and did not move their vehicles. Nobody could move for about 25 minutes. I know a valet isn’t in the cards for hiring, but it started out our stay on a very sour note.

Its ok but noting spezel or nice
