Elyton Hotel was very clean throughout the entire hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Will stay there again.

Called the hotel to pay the rooms as this was booked as a gift. Employee confirmed all details and credit card info and said it would be used right away so that they would have a smooth checkin That was not done and it ended up being paid for by my two guest upon arrival. Very disappointing

Staff was excellent and easy valet parking. Cool building and the food from The Park was excellent.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff is professional, but at 2:00 in the morning the streets become a raceway for loud cars and motorcycles. I guess it's to be expected in the city. I would still stay again, just with ear plugs.

I would stay at Elyton again. Check-in and check-out was seamless. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. The rooftop bar had a great view and was open until 12 on Saturday night. We tried to order a wood fired pizza at 11:07, but was told they stop taking orders for them at 11. Everyone was kind.

Beautiful hotel in historic building that has been updated to perfection! Everything about our stay was amazing from check-in, to staff, restaurant inside hotel, valet parking, and the room. Would highly recommend this hotel if staying downtown.

Found stuff from previous guests in the room. The room service is inedible and served in boxes. My room was so loud you could hear every noise from the street. I called the front desk minimally 20 times before someone actually answered. There have to be better options.....

This hotel is one of the best we have visited since the pandemic. The beautiful historic and modern decor. Nice location. The rooms are small but very comfortable and accommodating. Great bed and shower. Views. The coffee bar. Great! The restaurants offer a great menu of delicious food. Service is still lacking due to being short staffed. Over all wonderful!

Beautiful and stylish hotel at the main downtown crossroads. Lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance. Our room was on the small side, but well-appointed. Service was excellent.

Great old building renovation.. The 10th floor bar was VERY busy... Rooms were oddly decorated, out of character for the feel of the building. I guess its a Boutique and that means anything goes...

The staff here was incredibly welcoming. Room was ready early. They were able to print something for me quickly. Stored my bag. Very responsive to requests.

My husband and I had an amazing stay at the Elyton Hotel. The experience was beyond exceptional. Latasha

Warning...this is not a five star hotel. Pulled up and there was no valet sign or indication of where to park. Paid to park so I could go in and figure that out. No concierge was available the whole time. Inside the room, the drapes were torn at the top so I could not pull them to...no privacy. I put the chair in front of it to hold them together. Virtually no hot water. I decided not to shower because of that. The room was ordinary, definitely not boutique or anything Marriott quality. The toilet room did not even have a vent! Most of the buildings surrounding it are vacant. One building had broken windows and objects were blowing out of them. A piece of metal almost hit me. Vagrants were wandering around the area. I reserved a room with two breakfasts. Did not receive any vouchers. Went to the restaurant the next morning and had to show them my email to prove it. Menu was extremely limited. Food was marginal..over priced. I would not return to this hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone. I have stayed at Hampton Inn's and Drury Inn's that were much better. Plus they include breakfast. Waste of money and it was my boyfriend's birthday too.

I dont like the option you have to pay for parking per car. The service and staff and room made up for the fact that i didnt get my deposit back

Great experience

The property is beautiful. The room was immaculate and really stylish, and the service at the hotel was outstanding. I will definitely return if I come back to Birmingham for travel. The food at the restaurant was outstanding, as well, and they do room service, so I was able to order to the room.

Strike 1- rooftop bar closed M-W Strike 2 - hotel desk had no change when we checked in or when we checked out…had to ask the valet for change back so we could tip them…front desk was not helpful (3 different people-all same attitude/rude/curt) Strike 3 - loud construction noise at 6:30- 7am from our window & water was off for few hours then smelled like sulfur (tough to brush teeth/wash hands)
