The hotel is very quirky rooms are adequate. No body spoke English so very difficult to find out directions,information etc. The hotel is also situated on a very very noisy street so sleeping is a problem. The music shouting whistling carried on until day break.It was a pity as the hotel is in the perfect place for site seeing. But four nights without sleep spoilt our experience in Havana.

Casa Vieja is a quirky and perfectly placed for exploring old Havana. The rooms were cosy but adequate and clean. Beds were comfortable. The hotel has a lovely sitting area and a rooftop bar where an excellent breakfast is served every morning. Only slight moan was that the rooms weren't ready until 7.30pm (we arrived at the hotel at 4pm). NB The hotel doesn't have a sign on it. You'll recognise it by the giant gorilla smoking a cigar painted across the doors - i said it was quirky!
