The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Beautiful view of the river. Food was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Personnel that I came into contact was friendly and helpful

The room was spacious and very well equipt. Check-in and out was easy and straightforward. The only minor complaint is that being above the bar, I was woken at midnight by the staff putting away the metal tables and chairs.

A nice hotel with a good, central location. Quirky but nicely decorated and furnished rooms. I couldn't get the heating to work in my room, so found it a bit chilly in the evening. The biggest drawback from my perspective was that breakfast isn't served until 09.00, which is a bit late if you're travelling for business or have onward travel plans.

Fantastic stay - really lovely restored pub rooms in Bedford, with great food at the pub too. Loved all the details, river view, and high ceiling.

I stayed in deluxe room with river view and that's exactly what it was! It was beautifully decorated, designed, totally clean and sooo comfortable in every way. An excellent hospitality tray too, with a cafetière as well. The location is right by the river but I didn't have my car so parking wasn't an issue for me. I did see a couple of car parks nearby however. I really enjoyed my stay, the room was a joy, and I would most definitely return.

We had a great welcome and were allowed to check in early to our lovely riverside room. It’s got lots of character with a bath in the bedroom and separate bathroom and the views are nice. Staff were excellent and we also had a lovely breakfast downstairs. We will be back later in the year for a family party!

Simple fare restaurant with elegant rooms with a view in centre of Bedford. Lovely place with nice vibe, converted old schoolhouse. Definitely recommend. Not suitable for clients with poor mobility.

Room & Venue it self was fine however the initial greeting was shocking. If it wasn't for the fact we had a room and we had stood so long waiting for service just for food i would have walked away. This was the same for the initial arrival & for when we came down for food. Then the confusion over payment since we decided not to pay via hotels.com just seemed to confuse the staff completely.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Bedford, clean comfortable rooms and well presented. This was booked on the day and was a good price, didn't eat here but the food did look good

My wife and i stayed in a beautiful Riverside room which seemed refurbished within last 3 years. We were in the area for a wedding and this hotel was a superb boutique feeling option instead of a more generic Premier Inn. The super king bed and Cotton sheets felt very luxurious, as did the roll top Bath. Breakfast we paid extra from the pub downstairs. it had lots of options available and a really good app for ordering. The rain shower in the bathroom was also a great treat. Eco score lower as the room was very warm and seemingly no way of changing this.

Superb rooms and very friendly staff. Rooms are very comfy indeed. Systems were down when we checked in and so check in process took too long really. Apart from that the place is spot on, and these things happen of course. Would absolutely stay again - and will be doing so for sure.
