Wonderful place to stay!

Great location, service, and close to the outer banks. The owners were friendly and always willing to help and answer questions. The rooms were clean and always were equipped with new sheets and towels daily.

Had a lovely overnight stay in one of the guest rooms in the house. Room was very clean and in an excellent state of repair. If you can't climb stairs, one of the motel rooms would be better suited for you.

Overall the room was pretty good. It was clean when we arrived, beds were very comfortable, and the mini fridge was the largest I've ever come across in a hotel/motel. The highlight was the bathroom - decently sized with wonderful water pressure in the shower. My only critique is that I wish the window in the bathroom had some sort of privacy screen/film in addition to the blinds as the window faces out to the parking lot

What a delightful little beach motel. Owner/proprietor on the ball wanting to please. Bathroom updated, linens crisp. Whole motel extremely clean. Young lady in the office offered suggestion for dinner and where to get best view of sunset. Cant wait to return.

This property was so quaint and beautiful! The amenities were great! My room was very clean, nice size mini fridge, two comfy beds, and a beautiful bathroom! I came for a wedding and It was my first solo trip to the outer banks. I felt very safe in my accommodations and the staff was great! I had a nice chat this morning with the owner and I will definitely be staying here in the future! The coffee bar and lemon water was a very nice touch! All and all I enjoyed my stay here and I can’t wait to return!

Very cute little building with a tiki bar and fire pit out back, very easy to find and friendly staff. We will be happy to stay here again.

What a great little find! We stayed in the main house and weren't really sure what to expected but it was wonderful! The room was well equiped and had plenty of space for us parents and the baby. It was so nice too to just be right downstairs watching TV in the lobby area after baby went to bed and not way down the hall and on a different floor. Great find and would recommend to all!

Property is beautiful. Stayed in #8, air conditioner noisy in bedroom and sanitary wrapper left in bathroom under sink. Did not remove. Free Kcup coffee and lemon water available 24 hrs a day in lobby area a plus

This is a really cute property with a clean room and very nice staff. We only stayed one night due to time constraints but I would stay here again. It's within walking distance to food and some shops and just a short drive to the cute downtown area, Outer Banks, and Alligator River NWR which is why we were there.
The only 2 things I would caution people about are 1) the bathroom is very narrow so probably not ADA accessible and 2) the parking area is a really cool artsy blend of glass which bare feet probably shouldn't walk on, but otherwise this is a nice little place to stay.

A hidden gem on Roanoke Island! Stayed one night in the 2 room suite. Loved how spacious it was. Alan checked us in, answered all questions and provided a quick tour of the property. We were 5 minute drive to downtown scene with restaurants and shopping. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Our room was very clean and all updated. Very very nice. Our cleaning lady did deliver clean towels every day but didn’t bother to sweep the floor or provide enough toilet paper. Other than that… all good!!!

I loved that this place had a beach decor, but it was classy! It was beautiful, the king bed was super comfortable. The twin was not, I was going to sleep on it, but it was too hard. Staff was great. Would 100% stay again!!
