This hotel is great for travelers arriving at JFK Airport. Take The AirTrain to the Jaimaca Queens Subway stop. Then walk three blocks to the hotel.

It’s a fine hotel if you need to be at JFK the next day. You can catch the Airtrain directly to the terminal. The hotel is clean, the front desk was fine. There’s breakfast but I didn’t try it.

It's excellent if you have a lay over at JFK. It's conveniently located nearby the Jamaica station and the airport Sky train. The area around it is so so. I did not have any inconvenience, but didn't like it.

This hotel is clean and conveniently located, just a couple blocks away from the subway to NYC and the airtrain to JFK. The neighborhood is in the midst of change, with new buildings popping up between older buildings. It's an interesting area with a diverse selection of ethnic foods from Jamaican to Mexican, Chinese and Portuguese. It's still wise to keep an eye on your surroundings but this was a nice way to discover a neighborhood which I wasn't yet familiar with.

Short walk from Jamaica station, clean well designed hotel, very comfortable beds, WiFi was good. Excellent breakfast facilities, disposable plastic utensils wrapped on plastic , but recycling bins to hopefully have them recycled. Air conditioning was effective but one fan was noisy, it's was fine once I switched it off. I'd certainly recommend a stay

There’s no parking there so you’re on your own. Fortunately, we were able to find a spot that worked for us for the five days….. The hotel was fine very clean. Breakfast was good but once you step out the front door you’re taking your life in your own hands, lots of garbage around …congested area….. not the best part of town….. and the guy behind us blurred his music so loud even when we shut the window it was loud in our room. The front desk guy said he always stops at 5:30 or 6 o’clock which was true. Not sure why I would need to wait for that to happen ….

Stayed at this hotel on the last night of our NYC holiday as we were attending an Islanders game at UBS Arena and flying out from JFK early the following morning.
Ideally situated a short suitcase pull from the AirTrain at Jamaica station it was clean and tidy with nice large rooms.

Overall quite good at a reasonable price. I’d stay there again for sure. From the hotel to terminal 8 took a total of 35 minutes including walking and air train

Nice new hotel 5 minutes walk from Jamaica NY station.
Unfortunately had problems with hot water for showers in the morning but this was fine later that evening.
Road noise is a problem if on that side of the hotel, being typical for NY.

I like tge hotel, amenities, front desk guy is always pleasant. I like the convenience of the location. Construction is being done on side of hotel & you must walk in the street, there are barricades but I didnt like walking in the street.

In process of reaching out to IHG…blood on pillow case & sheet. did not notice until we were going to head to breakfast. My daughter & I instead left immediately.
Front desk hit immediate defense. He said he checked me in & will check us out & his housekeeper would never allow room to be left like that. Refused to send someone to room, refused to look at my head and neck and shoulder for blood as there was none. I’ve never experience anything like this. Do not recommend staying here.

I was placed in a room with an ice maker just outside the room door, making the annoying noise. I got no sleep at all....... terrible experience 😪!!!

Room was not satisfactorily sanitized. Stuff on the floor. The toilet bowl has brown water.
Second time one of the body towels was soiled and should’ve been disposed of. Manager is mean. I thought he was nice. - maybe he’s just being managerial and needs to be for the safety of the guests.
There is a button to get to the rooftop so I thought I was allowed up there. Meanwhile you’re not allowed to go up there so I suggested there should be a key that you put into that button so that you can turn it and go up to that level only for management. I think there should be a vending machines or some kind of food available in the evening they would make much money on it.
