The island was wonderful, the staff nice and accommodating.

Room door and windows should be more hermetically designed, many lizards and insects wandered o the walls day and night.

The breakfast was really good, even so the Dinner. Both you can enjoy with a view over Lake Victoria. I recieved an Upgrade, which was so nice and the room was big and beautiful. The shower hot.

What was not nice, is not a hotel problem: I had the feeling a lot of "Mzungus" came here and gave sweets and other presents to the kids. Out of my view, this destroys a good partnership and relation with the people of Takawiri. More important, it distorts the real picture of our world.

The views were stunning and so beautiful. The beds were great and the entire room setting was nice. The food was prepared to my liking.

9:30pm -6:30am NO light..

where do i start....everything was superb from the location to the environment....to the staff...to the food....esp. the food kudos to the chef...Doreen was really nice and helpful and she helped us every step of the way....Lynne was there to help when we didn't know any directions or the next step to take...the rooms were elegant and so spacious....the bed was so nice and fluffy i got the well deserved rest i wanted....the staff were so welcoming and accommodating really cant wait to go back.
