No ventilation and window in the kitchen, musty smell. My daughter complained that the bedsheet is dirty. Messy outside of the house.

Our hosts were welcoming, and they gave us great tips about where to eat, visit, etc. They are also artists and musicians, which we appreciated as fellow artists. the accommodations were comfortable and charming and featured the host’s wonderful art work. in back, we were treated to a patio to use while drinking morning coffee and meditating. In the yard were some geese and ducks which were fun to watch. we had a lovely stay and plan to come back.

Bed was comfortable. The room was clean. Proprietors welcoming.

The accommodation is a bedroom and bathroom only with an adjoining door in each of the rooms to the proprietors home and therefore you could easily hear conversations from there and they undoubtably could hear us, so there wasn’t a lot of privacy.

The rural location, on the road to Mt Maxwell, extremely comfortable bed, fantastic tasting water, wonderful hosts, art filled space. There are several tiny spring flowers blooming on the property. I watched the sun rise and sun gaze from the suite's window and from the deck. Your privacy is respected. The hosts are there to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I was invited to join them at a Sunday Jazz jam at the Legion, where they performed in a band; Sherry vocals, Wilf on keyboards. And introduced to several of their musical tribe. You will find Salt Spring Island is a mecca for talented retired musicians and singers. It is an inclusive community, and everyone who lives on SSI has a story about how they moved here. Sherry, hostess of Raven Cache, is a talented musical artist and an established visual artist. Ask her the story of how she came to name the bnb. You will find it a relaxing and recharging space to unwind and BE in. I highly recommend staying here.

The teepee wasn't set up, but it was still too early in Spring to do so.

Close to Ganges and Mount Maxwell. The owners were very interesting and very informative about the area.

fantastic stay, needed a place close to town as we were playing a concert there. beautiful room, clean, modern bathroom, super comfy bed, food in the fridge, coffee, everything you need! so quiet and peaceful

Sherry and Wilf were very kind and welcoming....giving us a ride into town one morning and Sherry shared her delicious homemade soup with us. Sherry was always reachable by email or phone call if we had any questions. The suite had everything we needed and more. The area was peaceful which was just what we needed.

Very clean and well stocked coffee station and extra supplies in a fridge on the deck. The bed was very comfortable however we are plus size people and would prefer a king size bed. Bathroom had an amazing shower system with good water pressure. Interesting art work and I understand some of it was painted by the owner. We had a problem with the code entry to the room (definitely our problem) the resident owner was very tolerant of our fumbling and was a great help.

We were a bit worried as to what we had booked when we drove into the driveway as there were several vehicles parked that did not appear to be in current use. This detracted from the very nice new home on a wooded lot.
