I liked that it was roomy and clean. I needed a razor and they gave me two for free!
The room was dark on one side with no lighting. The sliding door to the bathroom is just plain weird. It’s almost see through and my teenage daughter was really I comfortable showering with her parents on the other side. The person’s silhouette in the bathroom is visible. Plus, the toilet is also in there so you really feel like there is minimal privacy.
Also I stayed for 2 nights and there was not enough toilet paper. I had to go down and get a roll.

Breakfast was great. My husband and I appreciated the healthy add-ins for the oatmeal. My oldest daughter enjoyed making a bagel sandwich, and my younger daughter loved the waffles with blueberry compote. Everything was delicious and the area was very clean.
The free water bottles in the lobby were a nice touch.
The beds were comfortable.
Housekeeping didn't show up after our first night and we had to go ask for clean towels.
It would have been nice if the refrigerator included a freezer section.

We chose the hotel on a whim after learning that our son's weekend baseball tournament had been moved to the University of Delaware, and he had to be at the field at 7am. We're accustomed to staying in a hotel for baseball weekends, and usually have to rush around in the morning when we're barely awake to pack up and check out while making sure we get him to the field on time. It was luxurious knowing we didn't have to be out of the room until noon - and with the field less than 10 minutes away, we were able to watch the game and return to the room for a change of clothes before checking out! Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the breakfast buffet (we chose a few more minutes of sleep and granola bars in the car), but it looked delicious.
As far as the room itself, I joked that I wanted to bring the bed home with me! Wonderful firm (but not too firm) mattress - couldn't even feel my husband's movements on the other side - and soft, cottony sheets. Bottomless supply of hot water, good water pressure, nicely scented body wash, shampoo, and conditioner (it was nice knowing that we didn't have to lug all this with us when we were just staying one night), and plenty of fluffy, bright white towels. The room was creatively laid out with a desk area separating the beds from the "living room" end of the suite, and there was a microwave, coffeemaker, and a true mini fridge (not one of those ones that you have to repeatedly turn on every few hours like they have in some hotels). Also loved that the drapes were truly room darkening and fully spanned the width of the window.
We usually request a room on a high floor and away from the elevators to minimize noise, but I forgot this time. We ended up on the second floor but were near the end of the hall. I was vaguely aware of a few people coming down the hallway to their rooms near us, but it was extremely quiet after they closed their doors.
I had read in other reviews that people did not like the bathroom door, but I couldn't envision what the issue was (I wish I had snapped a picture). The bathroom is long and narrow (spacious!), almost the full depth of the room. The door is a sliding barn door just opposite the foot of the first bed, and it has a large panel of frosted aqua-colored glass. Aesthetically, it's really chic, and it does provide full privacy. On the downside, the light from the bathroom does glow through the glass panel. It didn't prove to be an issue for us, but I guess it could be annoying for light sleepers if someone were to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Exceptional service from Phyllis at check in. Fixed our messed up reservation to accommodate us. The rooms are what a hotel room should be. Upscale decor, impeccably clean, excellent beds and spacious.
Located near railroad line. Train passes through once or twice a night.

I like how friendly everyone were. Everyone were very helpful and extremely understanding. Traveling with two kids alone isn’t always easy but staff helped out a lot.
Just two things were a little disappointing.
1. The pool being closed. The indoor pool was one of the reasons why I picked this hotel. I wanted to give my girls something to do without having to leave the hotel.
My second reason would be the lighting in the suite. The desk and coffee/fridge area light wouldn’t turn off. It was to bright when trying to get some rest.

Air con worked, good bed and shower
Where to start, located near a major road junction and train track = noise all through the night and no sleep
Worst ‘cooked’ breakfast i’ve ever had, soggy, under cooked inedible rolls/croissants - ended up going out for breakfast.
swimming pool closed, shuttle unavailable, safe not working
room cleaning not up to scratch or as scheduled. front desk take 5 days to reply to enquiry
apart from that, great. Even as a Marriott Bonvoy card holder, won’t be back here again.

very neat and the customer service is great! The decor in the room is well put together and the set up is elegant and calming!
The bed was a little firm to my liking. And I didn’t like how the pool was dirty but everything else at my stay was pleasant!
