Everything was prestine! From the pools to the food, to the landscaping, to the shows. This place is a must!
We spent just a week, but we wanted more time. We’ll return.

The Copan Skybar is absolutely beautiful but a complete joke. It should be a cash only bar, no reservations and every table should be full at all times. If you would.like for that bar to make alot of money please contact me. Whoever is running that should be fired immediately!!

Great location, lots to do on site, lots to do in the area with easy on site bookings. Great staff, always clean. Great food and drinks. Top notch coffee.
Unable to invite friends in the area to have a drink with you if they are not staying at the resort.

The beach was lovely, and perfect for long walks to get your steps in. The sand at Paradise Village was fine and hard near the shore (good for walking). The beach was also kept very clean.
Property restaurants were nice--the marina restaurant is particularly lovely.
Nightly entertainment at the amphitheatre gave a nice mixture of shows to watch if so inclined.
Fantastic bike/walking path that goes quite a long way along the hotel zone. Well worth the ride/walk. Unless you are all-inclusive, you can rent bikes at the resort for $5 USD/hour. Not the greatest bikes, but ok if you want to experience the bike path.
Having the shopping mall close by is handy--especially the little grocery market. It is worth taking a cab at the beginning of your stay, and going to Walmart or one of the larger grocery stores to do your big shop, and then just visit the little store for things you need along the way, as it is pricier to buy there.
Unfortunately, the water was a little rough while we were there, so swimming in the ocean was not always possible. The resort's kayaking tour had to be cancelled a few times due to the rough waters as well. This was disappointing, as it was one of the "free" water activities that we couldn't use. However, this was outside of the control of the resort.
Also, didn't like the constant stream of people trying to hawk their goods while you were sitting on the beach. They would politely move on when you said "No, gracias", but it was still annoying.
It was sometimes difficult to find someone to order a drink or food on the beach. However, if you got up to leave before paying your bill, they seemed to find you quickly!
If you aren't up for having kids screaming and lot of noisy activity in the pool (whistling blowing, music, bingo and other loud games) be sure NOT to stay in the Tikal buildings. The Oxmal building overlooks the quiet pool, and is much calmer. Also, nicer to overlook this pool from your balcony.
It was not easy to find out what was happening, where, at the beginning of our stay. Staff don't seem to know or you get conflicting messages (for example, the bike tour is "free", but you have to rent the bike to take the tour).

amazing location, great facilities, fun activities, fantastic food, friendly staff
only complaints at all were the lounge chairs fill up early and the drinks were inconsistent

Location on the beach is excellent. Restaurants are very good and food prices are reasonable. Staff was very helpful. We had a problem with the air conditioning in our room and maintenance resolved it promptly on a Sunday evening. Happy Hour in the main lobby every evening has drinks 2 for the price of 1. We’ve been to Vallarta many times and I would rate this resort the best value for the money.

Food was good and they did a great job celebrating Christmas. Lots of pool activities during the day.
The service was way to slow. It took over an hour to check out. No shuttle to the airport available.

It was clean. Covid safety cleaning still in place. Staff always available. Great lighting in place around facility at night.
Security noticable including beach area.
Activities were not publicly announced enough. More fliers for awarness of these are needed.
Signage for dress codes need posted.
There is a Big need for a shop/first aid station on premises for essential necessities in each tower? Or main lobbies-tylenol, benadryl, bandaids, sunscreen, burn cream, chapstick, condoms, feminine products..... i am aware of medical center, store, pharmacy-

You have to pay 7$ for the gym. Masks are mandatory at the gym but nowhere else in the hotel. So when you arrive at the gym they won’t allow you in without a mask and ask you to go buy one at the mall. For a 7$ entry they could provide at least one mask if you don’t have one.
Check in and check out line are very long. It takes almost one hour each. They ask for a lot of papers (ID for me and wife and kids) Covid Stuff…. On the other hand when you leave the hotel a lot of paperwork also but nobody asks how was your stay.
