Amazing view over the ocean including the sunset on the sea. Hotel's beach was one of the best in Koh Tao, very calm and with a nice restaurant. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was lovely (way better than what was mentioned in the reviews we read). Would definetely recommend it if you prefer a quieter zone of the island (with better access renting a scooter, which you can do directly at the hotel).

Sometimes the stairs from one place to another could be a little steep, but very manageable

Our picturesque deluxe sea view room couldn't be beaten. The room was comfortable and we slept very well. The breakfast was tasty and very well cooked. We ate a variety of evening meals that were fresh, full of flavour and beautifully cooked. Strongly recommend booking early due to the hotel's popularity.

Freedom Beach does have comfortable deck chairs to sit in, but the main beach, only has hard wooden loungers, hence the same arrangement would be nice. Deck chairs on Freedom Beach are taken up by outsiders, so hotel guests need to get there before 11am. Those of limited mobility may find the stairs and walkways challenging, so it may be best to look elsewhere. Ten minute Taxi ride is 300 baht each way, into town, so something to consider if you want a bit of nightlife or on a budget. 7 eleven is around 10 minutes on foot, but there are steep inclines in places.

The free pickup and drop off from the port is great. The view is remarkable! The rooms are a good size, and anything overlooking the beach is absolutely stunning. The beach below is beautiful for snorkelling

To get such a wonderful view, stairs are expected. We didn't mind, but it's definitely not appropriate for limited mobility. The beach below is beautiful but WAY too busy. If it were dedicated to only the resort customers, it'd be great, but with everyone wanting to come in, it gets extremely busy. The food at both the restaurant and for breakfast is okay but definitely much better food outside. The location is at the end of the island so you definitely need a vehicle to move around as the hotels taxi costs between 200-400 baht each way. I think if there was an option to pay a one-off fee upon arrival to use an hourly taxi service provided by the hotel which travels up and down the island, that'd be a great incentive. The location makes it dangerous to rent a bike. You'll notice alot of injured tourists due to bikes.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem Hotel. Unser Bungalow war groß und sauber, die Aussicht vom Balkon in die Bucht fantastisch und sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen baten eine so große Auswahl, dass man fast nicht aus dem Hotel wollte. Ebenfalls liegt der Freedom Beach direkt im Hotel und man kann von hier aus alleine beim Schnorcheln (kann vor Ort geliehen werden) ein wunderschönes Korallenriff erreichen. Wer hier nicht aufhören will hat auf Koh Tao die Qual der Wahl in welche Tauchschule er geht. Wir waren nicht weit entfernt bei NAVA und extrem zufrieden! Alle Angestellten waren unglaublich lieb und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns mir einigen toll Unterhalten und sie haben natürlich immer alle Wünsche erfüllt. Besonders die beiden jungen Damen die beim Frühstück und abends im Restaurant direkt am Hotel gearbeitet haben waren einfach super! Zum krönenden Abschluss haben und die beiden Hotel-Hunde jeden Abend zum Zimmer begleitet und sind morgens wieder mit uns zum Frühstück. Ich hätte am liebsten beide in den Koffer gepackt, aber sie werden vor Ort super behandelt und sind quasi Teil der Hotel-Familie, was ich persönlich sehr schön fand. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und noch mehr Zeit einplanen. Es ist einfach ein wunderschöner Ort.

The view from the bungalows is superb and the south end of the island is beautiful and quiet but located nicely next to Chalak beach and the ferry area so there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Bungalows are so comfortable and clean.

The wine at the restaurant is incredibly expensive. They need to get a house wine that is reasonably priced and then you would eat at the resort more as the food they cook is pretty good when you don't feel like venturing out for the night. The bungalows are quite expensive if you like to stay for a longer time.

AMAZING location, with 2 beaches on the resort! Great bungalow with a perfect sea view (all bungalows have a sea view!) Calm, not very crowded and not loud. would go back in a heart beat. Just rent a scooter for your daily activities and restaurant runs.

We liked the location. Very nice Bay, great beaches! Easy to find a bike facilitated by the hotel and near some restaurants Staff from the restaurant were very friendly.

We have got a room without view, and it would have been nice to say it before as we specifically booked this hotel to see the sea!
