We were totally able to disconnect and enjoy the peace, solitude and relaxing nature of this property. Hot tub was great as was the fire pit

We enjoyed our stay at River Log Cabin. Very peaceful. Enjoyed the view of the river from the cabin. Excellent place to take your dog.

Hot Tub was great other than a couple Jets tbat didn’t work. It was clean and comfy, had plenty of pots and pans, plates and silverware for cooking. You have privacy but you’re close to town, keep in mind you’re still out far and there’s not a ton near by, but it’s a beautiful location. Loved sitting by the river in the mornings. We would definitely book here again!!

Private cozy getaway to a very nostalgic area and time. We thoroughly enjoyed our view of River and mountains. Easy to find and access. Was very cold in early November Wish gas logs had been lit though. But it was easy to warm and cozy. Great stay

This was a nice place to stay. It was very clean & well kept. Checkin & check out was super easy. It was close to the main part of town & the Hot Springs Resort & Spa. The only complaint I have, which isn’t their fault, was dogs barking & howling at night while we trying to sleep in a nearby cabin or house. I loved the big shower but it does take a minute gif the water to heat up, no big deal though, just something to be aware of. The nearby town is only 6 minutes away & there are only 3 or 4 restaurants to choose from & only one that serves breakfast. It’s a nice place to relax & do a little hiking bit if you’re looking for lots of shopping etc. this would not be the town to stay in. The hot tub on the porch was very relax well but we had to turn the temperature up on it & let it get warmed up more before we hot in. All in all I would definitely recommend this cabin & will book again if we ever visit the area!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed how close the cabin is to downtown and hiking trails. The hot tub on the porch was very relaxing for the cold nights. We will definitely stay here again.

We had such a great weekend at this property. The location is absolutely perfect. Just minutes from downtown Hot Springs, directly across from the French Broad River, and a short drive to the Pisgah National Forest where we visited Paint Creek. The cabin is cozy and clean and has everything we needed. Wifi is a little spotty (to be expected) but who needs wifi in paradise? We loved the hot tub, the views, the privacy. Tons of wildlife out in the yard. Property owner was communicative and kind. Highly recommend this property!

The cabin was lovely and the views were fantastic. We wish we had booked a few more nights.

We stayed at the end of a 3 week road trip. We wanted to relax and enjoy the end of our vacation. The cabin was perfect and tranquil - exactly what we wanted.

This property is perfectly priced for what you get.. quiet, private, and relaxing. This river front cabin is one of my favorite. I love the hottub. The fishing was good. I caught a little freshwater drum. I will be back.

Wonderful host and property. It was a very affordable stay, and our dog was in heaven. I would say there was minimal supplies around the house in terms of kitchen ware, but we had the necessities we needed. Our only complaint was the creakyness/comfortability of the mattress/bed. But by no means did it hamper our fantastic time. We would love to come back.

The only 2 things I would have changed was, I'd put a tiny table or shelf on the armoire side of t bed for eye glasses, a book, ect, and the towels were a bit rough. Fabric softener. The cabin was great, I love the floor and especially the location.

The bed was horrible especially for handicap assesible. There was poop in plunger. The porches were rotted. Only enjoyable thing was the hottub.

Very spacious quiet cabin with large yard. We appreciated that it was pet friendly. Some extra amenities are the bbq, fire ring and hot tub. Quiet road with pretty view. Hot Spring is a nice quiet small town. The cabin is about 2 miles away. Lots of opportunities to hike or fish. The only negative was there was no soap or shampoo for the shower. We had a nice anniversary trip. Will come back.

We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was very clean and quaint. The hot tub was amazing after walking all day at the Biltmore, too. We will definitely stay here again during our next Asheville trip!

The views of the cabin were incredible. The mountains behind you and the river in front of you. And a quick 5 min drive to town with some great restaurants options. The cabin has everything we needed. We had a fire pit both nights, a couple places in town sell wood if you need it.

Lovely, well-made cabin with the most beautiful hand-hewn wood floors, walls, and ceiling. We arrived after dark in 3 degree windy weather, and walked into a warm, beautiful, clean cabin. Cozy cozy cozy! We brought our dogs and were grateful we had them to inspire us to explore outside, taking walks down to the riverside and finding treasures hidden in the trees….a pond, a flattened grassy area where the deer had lain, very old farm and lumber tools, a large quartz boulder. So private and pretty. Our dogs were calm and comfortable and found the space in front of the fireplace their favorite. I couldn’t talk myself into walking outside without a heavy coat, but my husband enjoyed the hot tub every day. He said it was comfy and pristinely clean. If cozy, quiet, clean, and comfy is your vibe, this is your spot.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at The Rose. We were looking for a little getaway and this was perfect. Cabin was super cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. Also beautiful views of the river across the road. Very peaceful place. Only a few mins from the town of Hot Springs. We can’t wait to come back!

This is an upscale more modern yet old-school type cabin in a gorgeous location. This was our 34th anniversary getaway and it was wonderful. It sits on wide acreage and across the small road is a large river in the mountain town of Hit Springs. Though we could go toy the Hit Springs hot tubs this rustic cabin had a fulll size very well maintained hot tub privately latticed on the front porch only steps from the front door. What that meant was our stay in 40 degree weather was so nice! The open floor plan had a Jean small kitchen and cozy gas lit fireplace. The Wi-Fi was very good and the satilite TV is great being so far out. The bathroom was well kept and echoed the hand built wood over the walls and ceiling. Though not needed this entire location is very accessible to anyone using a wheeelxhair. It’s far enough away from the town but close enough to cause the small downtown. It’s also very central to breath taking hiking and rafting. Mary is a wonderful host and makes expectations clear. She communicates very well. The heating and cooling is new and works well. There’s a fire pit outside and they even gave us a pile of kiln dried wood. The bedroom is spacious and all I’d ask for are a newer mattress and slightly better linens in there and more bath size towels. However, the walk-in shower was spacious and all appliances worked. But folks, the setting is tremendous. The stars at night are electric, and it is peacefully secluded yet not spooky far off in the holler. We’d so stay here again and took pictures of the place for memory sake. Loved this place. The Owens

Property was just what we were looking for. Hot Springs near by was just the right size. Pretty much had everything we needed in town.

My husband & I were not disappointed with our 5 day stay at 76 -The Rose. The cabin is meticulously cared for by family members. The location was perfect, right across from the French Broad River, one of the oldest rivers in the country. It does collect red clay mud from run off after rain storms, so check the weather! If you talk to locals they’ll tell you where the clearest & coolest swimming holes are not more than 10 minutes from the cabin. Madison County is saturated with American history. No one has mentioned the 4400 year old hieroglyphs right down the road. This place is soulful and it should be embraced for its 300+ years of Appalachian culture. I read some reviews and feel renters should do their homework b/4 renting. It’s not suppose tone the Hilton! If you yearn for clear skies, quite nights, free roaming deer & rabbits running across the front yard, cow moos. a lonesome train whistle and a clean, resting spot away from your busy lives, these cabins (there’s several) are the perfect place are for you. There are plenty of amenities too to make you feel at home including WiFi, satellite tv, and a hot tub, It’s also one of just a few places that welcomes pets! We’ll without hesitation rebook next year. And just to say, I think these folks who open their doors to outsiders should be applauded for their hospitality and generosity.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The property was very clean and up kept. The property was beautiful and very easy to find. If I had to find something wrong I would say furniture was a bit dated and old. But that didn't subtract from our stay. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in hot springs.

The cabin and grounds were nice and well kept and so was the hot tub. However, the bed was hard and the pillows were worse. We were looking for something creek side....not a dirty roaring river that you cannot access unless you drive 15 miles to access it.

We loved the wooden cabin and hanging out on the big front porch. Inside, it has everything you need to feel comfortable and its got access to some really special outdoor places. It was perfect for 2 adults and 2 dogs!

It's a beautiful lot; the cabin itself is pretty, and you expect it to be a little rustic (and it is) so all that's fine. But it also wasn't equipped very well; there wasn't much place to hang clothes, but that's OK because there were no hangers at all - there weren't any pitchers or anything in the kitchen (although there were measuring cups!)
And the bed was so noisy we slept very poorly for the entire time

Everything in the property description was spot on. My husband and I had a relaxing getaway that was very much needed. It was very peaceful and nice to hear nothing, but nature. The host was very responsive to any questions we may have had and was very accommodating with a last minute change we had. Would love to book this cabin again in the future. Highly recommend.

Our impression of the property was very good. The only drawback for us was that we were in town visiting relatives in Marshall. This cabin was more than a half hour away from there, which made late night returns a bit difficult, especially in the rain. This is why we rated location only as a 3. In addition, our Verizon phone had no service unless we drove back towards the town of Hot Springs. All those factors make for an excellent getaway cabin. No fault of anyone. We loved the hot tub, which came in handy at our initial check-in, where a storm had knocked out the power for a few hours, and we were in the dark. A Dollar General in town provided us with necessary flashlights, and we enjoyed roughing it in the darkness. That’s what made the hot tub such a relaxing time. Overall, our visit was great!
