This house is just perfect! We loved staying here, the home had everything we needed. Super easy check in and instructions. Hot tub was nice and clean, we used this every day. It’s got almost a full kitchen, beds are comfortable and clean. Would recommend and can’t wait to stay again.

Checking in was fairly easy, however after that the experience went downhill. I had multiple emails and texts from the rental management company "checking in" however when I responded with multiple questions (ei, fireplace function and check in/check out times etc) I was ignored. The home itself was pretty and mostly tidy, however the property was not well stocked. The driveway was steep and icey, and my husband had to go pay out of pocket for multiple jugs of ice melt. There was no hand soap and only two rolls of toilet paper. The hot tub was a nice commodity, however the porch was thick with snow not maintained and it was difficult to traipse through. There were 2 tvs, but no cable to watch anything. Beds were all clean, nicely made and comfortable. I got an email the last day offering for late checkout, but for an additional $75. For the hefty price we paid for a long weekend, I would have expected the essentials supplied. Overall nice place, just slightly lacking.

The house was lovely for a winter getaway. It was warm and welcoming, in close proximity to skiing, and well stocked.

The open kitchen, living area was nice, the master bedroom was comfortable and it was close to the pickle ball courts and busy Truckee.

The location is great for getting down to Truckee/Donner Lake (as opposed to places further into the Tahoe Donner area), and we had a blast hiking the Rim Trail straight out the back door. The kitchen was fairly well equipped, though as is typical for rentals like this, YMMV with what particular staples and kitchenware are present and you should plan on bringing or buying anything particular you may need.

The house is nice and the location is good. However, we left to go snow tubing and when we returned, we were locked out. There is no number to call and someone finally answered my text. They initially told me that we can’t check in until 4pm, except this was our second day. It took a while but we finally received a new entry code. Then the hot tub maintenance person showed up unannounced as we were just getting out and drying off. I am disappointed with turnkey.

Easy access to this comfortable home made our first trip to Truckee a success!

The home was beautiful. Everyone was impressed with the open layout. It is conveniently located for skiing at Northstar or Palisades, and it has everything you need. The hot tub is nice and large. We had a fantastic time!

We just returned from several days at this property with two other couples plus two toddler aged kids. It was perfect for us! Cozy, yet large enough for everyone to lounge, clean, nice layout, and cute decor. The short hike up the hill behind the house is beautiful with panoramic views and the perfect spot for playing in the snow. The only thing we really thought that could be improved was some of the pots and pans that need replacing. As with many short terms rentals, that kitchen equipment is heavily used and abused. Otherwise the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, including kid friendly plates, cups and bowls. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We were able to take advantage of the Donner Lake Rim Trail which was right down the hill. Beautiful hike to the lookout for Donner Lake. Our weekend started friday night and unfortunately there was a massive power outage thru the entire Tahoe area. When we got to the house the power was out and we were unable to find any flashlights and only one candle. I feel like they should've had some sort of emergency kit for things like this especially since it's in an area known for storms and power outages. Luckily we were able to stay warm with the gas fireplace until the power came back on. The next morning when we turned on the fireplace the fan started making a really loud noise so we turned it off, texted the property managers and waited. The sound went on for over 2 hours and they were not able to get anyone out to take a look and fix it while we were there the rest of our trip so that was disappointing to not be able to use the fireplace again. The bedrooms had comfy beds and the kitchen was perfect for our group of 5. The hot tub was a plus and was already warm and ready to go when we used it. Overall we really enjoyed the place. Just a few hiccups with the power outage and fireplace. Hopefully they get that fixed and figured out.

Great location and clean tidy house. Was happily surprised to find toys and amenities for the children including baby gates for the stairs! Hot tub was great for parents too. Would definitely come back to stay again!

We loved the cabin - it was clean, open and very comfortable. The living room area was beautiful with all of the windows and a very nice place to hang out. The beds were very comfortable as well. Suggestion for the upstairs bed sheets - don't use scented laundry detergent. The only issue was the driveway was too steep to park our boat.

This was our 2nd stay at this house. We love the layout and location - so it was nice to have that familiarity. The hot tub was not functional during our stay but Turn Key was able to address that through a credit. Everything else was in great order, hope to be back again some time soon!

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Tahoe Donner home! The home has a great layout and a fantastic location. The amenities available through the Tahoe Donner association (with a fee) were well appreciated and the hiking trails literally 25 yards out the back door of the house were nice for morning walks. Communication from TurnKey was good, and they continually kept us informed on check in times, area notifications (we were under a red flag the entire time), and area resources. I would stay here again and would have no problem recommending the home to others.

The house was beautiful and spacious but we started to have issues while getting ready to sleep. Our friends took the bedrooms downstairs and as they were getting in, there were crumbs in one bed and dried barf on the other. I was able to text the management company and they were pretty responsive. They said they would call me the next day but didn’t receive one. We ripped off all of the sheets and had to look all over the house for cleaner sheets. We ended up doing loads of laundry for them… but I appreciate them refunding us the cleaning fee. I would recommend some updated cookware. Also, I wasn’t a fan of memory foam beds. Other than those, the location is great. Easy to get to and it’s nearby Safeway and my favorite coffeebar! I love that we were able to use the nearby pool, for a fee, and the play structure right outside of the pool.

The knobs on the stove were all broken so it was really hard to turn on the burners and sometimes took 4-5 tries to turn it off. The fireplace didnt work and I had to be a surrogate handyman for the guy on text message from Turnkey to try and repair it, instead of just sending someone to fix it. The knob on the master shower fell off. Luckily, Tahoe is awesome and most of the time was spent outside, and even the little stuff didnt take away from how beautiful the house was.

Great property, great location. Very well stocked with all necessary household items. Only disappointment was that we could not use the beautiful fireplace. Other then that my larger family fit well and enjoyed it.

Overall, the home was in a great location. The entire house was well kept up with. The hot tub was great and the backyard was fun to play in.
