Right in the heart of The Commons. Perfect location for dining, and entertainment. Great rates for the accommodation's. Finally, it’s pet friendly.

We’ve stayed here before and it was exceptional. This time around was far from it. A lot of poor cleanliness and upkeep of the room was totally preventable with proper care. We had to move rooms 2 times during our check in. We have kids and we were exhausted from a long road trip.we had to move rooms due to windows being left open and bugs were flying and crawling everywhere in the rooms. There’s no screens on the windows. And there’s AC. So there was no need for the cleaners to leave windows open for bugs to run about. Secondly The floors and rugs were disgusting. We asked for our room to be swept out multiple times to avail. The rugs have stains. The rooms also need to be mopped but that may be asking them for too much. On our last day we had to change rooms again due to finding a couple grasshoppers hopping around when we returned from dinner. We love coming to calabasas and hope they hotel does better next time

We've stayed here several times and always had a great experience. This last stay the room temperature was very warm. Maintenance came to the room, but was unable to fix it. It was going to be very hot, or very cold, so the only choice was to turn it off. It didn't totally ruin our stay, but a discount on the room would have been a good gesture for a returning customer.

The hotel was in a great location, great staff and very friendly. The only downside was the shower with no door with the water pressure all the water went outside of the shower regardless if you were careful or not. Also not hot water 2 days in a row. The AC unit was not working and had to call to get it fixed. It fixed within minutes of the call.

Worst cleaning service. My room was never cleaned for 75% of my stay even after going downstairs and speaking to the concierge. Excuse after excuse. They only came to make the bed and even then, the sheets were never changed.

This was our second stay here. Much better than the first one. Front desk is very pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean except for the used tea pod in the coffee machine. After I checked in I found online that if you have AAA your parking fee is waived. We’ll see if it gets waived after the fact. I would stay here again. Very convenient for us to get to Kaiser Medical center.

The front desk was amazingly friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The cleanliness needs some work. There were some unmentionables stashed under the bathroom sink area apparently left by a previous customer, our room was near the front lobby and there was a radio of some sort that was playing all night long. At first I thought it might have been a bar down the street, but it was on well past closing time. Parking was only $15 a night which compared to other places seemed reasonable. It is also walking distance to several places to eat.
We have to go back next week and not sure if we will stay there again. We did let them know about the music and “presents” under the sink.

The air conditioning in the room didn’t work - I had it on full blast and the room got *hotter* over the course of three hours. I tried calling the front desk and was on hold for ten minutes and no one picked up. I couldn’t sleep either night due to the heat.
Additionally, the remote control for the tv wasn’t working. I couldn’t exit or return to menu or turn the volume down or even turn the tv off on the second night. I had to unplug the tv just to turn it off and go to sleep.
Vert disappointed in it. It looks nice and is well-furnished and designed but the substance is poor.

The HVAC did not work properly. It would not heat past 68 degrees in January with outside temps in the 50's. The engineer came & said a component that worked the cold/heat was not working. He set it to heat only. He told me to give it 40 minutes to see if it warmed the room. It was able to get the temp to 72 degrees when set at 90 degrees. I could change rooms if it didn't work. I got an extra blanket, so will hope it holds during the night.

The room is pleasant and clean. Trying to be stylish though one of the lamps has no real purpose. Overall comfortable with a little flair. The employees were all very friendly and nice, no issues with those working there.
The other guests on the other hand… when we returned to the hotel after dinner, crossing past some rooms we had to deal with a cloud of marijuana that smelled terrible all the way to our room and managed to linger on our clothing. Around 11pm a large group of children ran down the hallway yelling and laughing. Luckily they simmered down in a few minutes.
I think the guests here are just a little rowdy and not my personal preference.

The property is a good spot. I was traveling with my dog and the staff was great on all accounts. The room was very nice and bigger than most hotels that fall into the price range. It was a bit unclear when I got there where to take my dog for their bathroom breaks but there are a lot of places nearby. Overall a great place to stay.

Location is unbeatable, and the staff is very friendly. The hotel is clean and rooms are very large with comfortable beddings and furniture. The shower water pressure is very weak, and the bathroom could use a little renovation.

This was my first time staying at the Anza in Calabasas, and I will NEVER return. I was given a connecting room for my 4-night stay—I wish I had immediately walked out. I felt like I had zero privacy and a complete lack of restful sleep. I could hear EVERY. SINGLE. WORD. the people next door were saying. After 2 nights of hell, I went to the front desk to ask if the room next door would be occupied for the rest of my stay, because in that case, I needed to be assigned a new room. The woman at reception couldn't even figure out how to locate where my room was. She was asking ME what room was next to me. She tried to find a map of the hotel by emptying every drawer at the reception desk. I walked away without a resolution and she did not even offer to follow up. That night things got even worse—there was a large group of partiers staying on my floor, playing supper loud music and walking up and down the hallway shouting. We also got NEW people in the connecting room, who proceeded to play heavy metal music at full volume, at 7:20am!!!!! I immediately went to the front desk and asked for a new room. Although the employee seemed more capable and offered an apology, she told me there was nothing she could do, and that I should ask again later that day. Also, there is ONE elevator to service the entire building—mindblowing.
1 star because the room decor was decent. Aside from that, the atmosphere and customer service at this hotel are terrible quality. A hard pass for me.

Unfortunately I didn’t receive the room I booked and ended up in a room with two queens instead of a king. We chose this hotel because that was the confirmable option. In the room, the window was open and one bed had many bugs in it. Staff didn’t do much about adjusting the room other than offering to find us a hotel. Traveling with an infant this just doesn’t work. Ignoring all of that, the hotel was fine?

Great location, however backs up to freeway and they will try and upcharge you for a non-freeway room (still a standard room). No generator, so if elec goes out ur loss and no comp, old and feels run down, hallways all slant like a rocky cruise boat, cleaning is only on demand, H2o is scalding w no regulator…in a pinch this place works but not a great value.

The room set up was perfect for our family.

There was a weird smell in the lobby when you went in. The rooms were paper thin and you could hear all the noise from next door and in the halls. The bed had stains on the covers, the curtain had a beetle type bug on it, the iPad thing didn’t work, the bathroom felt gross (not clean, slapped together). And they charged for parking! In the morning I went down to their cafe and was told they didn’t have coffee but that could be made but it would take 5-10min.
It felt like an old hotel that was trying to be posh but couldn’t meet the standard or redeem itself. I won’t stay there again - it’s too expensive for what they offer.
But downtown Calabasas is super cute!

This will be the last time we stay here. Our room overlooked the freeway, it was very noisy and the windows didn't block any of the sound. There were bugs coming out of the drain in the shower along with an odor. We brought it up to the front desk and they said sorry there is nothing we can do since you booked through a 3rd party. I've booked through this 3rd party before and I was reimbursed a night by the resort, it seems like this place just didn't care to do any tyoe of customer service for us

The microwave appeared broken, so I didn't use it. I would have appreciated a working one with at least a microwavable bowl.
I would also have appreciated some transportation information on your website. Bus, shuttle, Uber?

They listed a restaurant and bar. They only served a mediocre breakfast that you had to purchase. Bar never opened. Should be removed as an amenity

Not happy about having to pay parking to stay at their hotel also there is no free channels like HBO or netflix that you would expect, i still gave it a 5 star

Very happy with our stay there. Very quiet and nice area with food and coffee options available close by.

The shower had bugs and I got bad mosquitoe bites. The hotel reception said it was a problem and that she experienced it also having to work there. No apology, it was more like… so what, get over it. Lastly, the pool area is completely shaded.

Everything was good except the unexpected parking fee. It is not clearly stated online or on Expedia.

There was a surprise fee of $15 a night for parking once we checked in. Totally unexpected. Also, our room was missing several amenities, including bath towels, the welcome Ipad for information, and there was not one wine opener in the entire hotel. It’s California people! Napa, Sonoma, Get a couple wine openers for your guests to use! The A/C in our room wasn’t working, so luckily we were able to transfer to a new room. The pool is nice, and the staff nice, but the property itself needs some attention to detail.

I truly loved our stay at the Anza! The location is great - shops, restaurants and everything you need is a short walking distance. We were always greeted with a smile, the hotel is very cute and clean! I did find the bathroom was a little small and did not match the feel of the rest of the hotel but it did not ruin our stay. The knobs on the sink were truly very difficult to turn, the pressure in the shower was alright and we had no way of contacting the front desk (did mention this to the staff a few times), but again, we really had a great stay despite these small things!

Bathroom tiles were broken and loose. Disappointed
Staff was great
