Property manager needs to be changed they are nosy and controlling

It is a good value for the money spent. The evening desk staff was not very helpful.

Not a terrible place but just some minor updates and the place can be really nice and comfortable for that price. Staff came into the room at 8am, faucet from tub was leaking, cobwebs in the bathroom and walls, stains on the towels, sheets and walls Great location for what we needed for the weekend.

The staff are all very nice helpful.

Next to Arby's and walking distance to Dunkin Donuts and McD. What more can you want?

Great location just off 81, clean and simple.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Check in went smoothly. Coffee was flavorful and hot. Exterminating Company either needs to be changed or come more often. Unwanted bugs in the room. Tissues would be a nice touch.

There were people outside near back very early morning making noise.

I got two rooms king for one night and a double for two. The air conditioner didn't work the best in the King room the double had bed bugs, plus I asked front desk for a cot for my son and she was rude. So I just walked out. I don't believe I would stay again

Staff was wonderful. Price was reasonable.

When we came into the room it had an odd smell. But before that the front doors were locked, the receptionist was not friendly meaning not that normal Customer Service experience you would expect to receive. Bed sheets had stains on them. The bed is hard as a brick or better off to have slept on the concrete. Highly do not recommend this hotel People out back cooking at around 11 am.

Okay for what it is. Could use some new linens and bed spread

The hotel was clean and they were doing painting maintenance on the outside rails. So there were working on the appearance. Only negative - there were several concrete planters filled with sand for cigarette butts outside of the rooms. They were filled with cigarettes. I would stay there again.

The main attraction for this property is its convenience to Kingsport and I-81. There is also a good selection of restaurants very close by. The room was pretty well maintained and the rates are quite reasonable. I would recommend it.

Overall I was satisfied EXCEPT the smoke alarm was taken off the wall. This was a major issue if there was to be a fire.

I would stay here again and again

Property is as well kept as possible .it is near its useable life.a full rehab must be in the future.that sayed it was clean and safe.and staff was pleasent.

As expected for the price. No bed bugs, room was clean, bathroom was clean. We were in a pinch and needed a place last minute - this place was fine.

In general a good place to stay

Kingsport TN Motel 6 is very clean. First time staying at this motel but second time staying in Kingsport. First time was at Red Roof. I can say that next time I’m in Kingsport I’ll be staying at this Motel 6. The room was very clean. The floors were clean and mopped and free of any dirt or debris, the towels and bed were clean. The parking spaces got a little scarce the later the day went but it seemed guests could park next door in the Arby's parking lot or the closed down restaurant. There’s a little grassy area that I could take my dog out which included a trash and baggies for dog waste. If I had to mention any cons, I’d say the bed was too hard and the pillows were too flat. Also almost had a mishap where someone from management opened my room door without knocking. Thankfully the latch was flipped over so he didn’t get the door fully open. I’m assuming he got his rooms mixed up but a knock on the door first would have been greatly appreciated. Overall, I’d stay at this Motel 6 again. Cheaper than Red Roof per night but above and beyond much cleaner.

The room is a bit outdated and the beds are not very comfortable. It was clean. Towels were small and a little rough. Lots of channels on tv to choose from good location to everything. Check in was easy

The room was comfortable, and the hotel desk clerk was friendly.

Motel needs a lot of updates, cleanliness means a lot to us and this motel needs a deep clean also. We got there late at night and still had a multitude of folks outside their rooms drinking and smoking pot. Management needs to spot check this type of activity at night. We would not return to this motel.

I liked the convenience to my travel plan/route. But did not care for the other people staying in near by rooms partying. And it was a tues night in April. !

Quiet

The room was good, plenty of towels. The hotel is in a great location just off the interstate. McDonalds just down the street.

Check in was easy and pleasant. The front desk person was very polite and friendly. Room was as expected. Clean and looked just like the picture.

1. minor complaint - pillows were lumpy & uncomfortable. One thing about them that were good was they worked well to keep the smoke smell from coming in under the door. 😂 2. complaint had to do with smokers outside of room. Smell came right under the door.
