Had trouble getting heat but the staff as very accommodating

First time staying here. Front desk staff was very polite and kind. Room very spacious and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Convenient location for our needs

Upon arrival there was nobody at the front desk to check us in. We waited 10 to 15 minutes and I then looked up the phone number and reached the general manager who was in his adjacent office with door closed and he didn’t know where the front desk person was. So he checked us in but the room keys didn’t work once we finally got up to our room and we had to trek back down to get them activated. Not a good experience at all. Other than that it was ok but I wouldn’t stay here again and I will probably avoid Travelodge in the future.

More variety for breakfast could be better.

The suite was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sofa looked a little tired and the curtain was hanging off the rail at one end. Easily fixed. We would stay here again.

They are doing renovations and it will be much better when completed. Our room smelled like smoke. They were very helpful sprayed our room. You could hear people in the next room talking. We stay there when going out to a dance at the local legion

This is an example of you get what you pay for. Furniture in room is worn and bed is worn out, as it sags in the middle. Breakfast was skimpy, a pre-assembled egg muffin.

The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful and friendly. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Great place to stay

Very disappointed that the laundry facilities were out of order. These were one of the reasons we opted for this hotel

Booked this property a couple months ago for a 1 night stay last week. After looking at the photos posted by the property, & reading reviews, it appeared that it was be a decent, clean spot. However, after staying the night, I can tell you, BOOK ELSEWHERE. This place was nasty!! The uncleanliness was a clear result of lazy, improperly managed housekeeping staff, as there was filth that had to have been built on for a while. Dirt ring around the bottom of the toilet (which was also not cleaned properly itself), hair & dirt in the shower, nasty light switches, & so on. The entire room had a very strong chemical-lemon smell, that was likely used to mask whatever smell the room would have otherwise - it was obviously not the smell of cleaner. We had the window in the room open from the time we checked in until we left the next morning, & the smell barely dissipated. People were outside in the parking lot partying until 7 a.m. Not that I was comfortable enough to sleep in the room to start with, but the addition of the obnoxious noise all night long was really appreciated. 2 stars only because the front desk lady that was working around midnight was very nice. I stopped at the front desk to ask for disinfect spray or any sort of cleaner, so I could at least clean some of the bathroom & surfaces in the room, & she delivered a bottle with some cleaner to our room shortly after. Would've left & went to another hotel but SJ was full from the Nelly concert that night.

Place was subpar and even a little bit sketchy. Not worth it.

After reading the Expedia reviews I was nervous about this reservation. When we arrived, there was a large group checking in at the time I arrived. You could tell there was a lot of confusion happening but the staff were handling it well. Our room was clean, bright and cozy. I’d stay here again - it’s not a big fancy flashy spot but it was exactly what we needed being in town for one night!

It was ok for one night. There was a lot of partying going on that kept us up until 2 am, but thankfully we didn't have to get up early the next day.

The hotel and our room could do with a good cleaning and refresh- the armchair in our room was dirty and overall things were worn.

Not a bad Hotel. The desk staff was very busy when we checked in. The room, was very spacious and comfortable. We had two double which suited us fine. The room was clean. The place was fairly quiet. Had to order in food. Wifi was great. The breakfast was not bad, with microwave egg muffins with ham or bacon. Pretty good and we were not disappointed.

Easy to get to, good parking, near most of the big box stores, not far from downtown, safe area

Breakfast was not great, but front desk staff were outstanding and the room was great. A lot of garbage in the parking lot, but inside was great! Again I will say staff all outstanding!

This was a clean, safe, friendly place, a mid-market facility for middle-of-the-roaders like us.

Carpet and over all appearance was tired and needs attention. Breakfast needed fresh fruit, bagels were stale and more attention to breakfast over all. Coffee was very good and the juice was fresh and not watered down like some other places. Staff was helpful, professional and friendly.

The 2 chairs in our room were dirty and need to be replaced.

Horrifying. We booked a nonsmoking room and they put us in one that reeked. After they verified the smell (pretty insulting that they didn't believe me), they moved us to a room that didn't smell as bad but the entire carpet was soaking. We couldn't walk in the room with bare feet. We left, got a refund, and had a pleasant night at Chateau St John. Also their idea of a suite is a joke. Run, don't walk, away from this hotel.

No shampoo/conditioner in room. Shower/tub was grimy (not stained, was able to wipe off easily. Just lazy cleaning). Small pillows. Mediocre breakfast. Bed was comfortable.
