Second time staying here… very comfy bed, room very clean, heated pool wonderful! Restaurants within short walk from hotel. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Sweet small hotel.

The hotel was wonderful, the staff is great, and the location is phenomenal! The only complaint I had was with the parking, the spaces are awkward and tight in the back area, but other than that, I was very happy with my experience at this hotel, and I would definitely stay there again!

Great stay. Great location. Room was a tad bit musty upon arrival but quickly aired out. Comfortable accommodations for sure! Hotel staff very nice and accommodating. Will book again in the future

The room was comfortable except for that the bathroom was tiny! It was hard to use the restroom without having to shift one’s body to the side to avoid hitting my head on the wall. Also didn’t like the shower head. It’s too high, very low pressure water and very basic, with no adjustments at all. I did love the way the room smelled and the overall maintenance of the facility, as well as the location. The close proximity of the passing train might be considered a bit of a problem but it wasn’t as important as the other stuff mentioned. Overall, I would recommend it.

I love the location and walkability. Great parking. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms could use some more storage and updating.

Love this place. Comfortable, clean perfect location. My go to hotel when I’m traveling to Santa Barbara

We had a lovely visit at the Coast Village Inn. The inn is very pretty with lots of plants and flowers everywhere. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfy, and the tv got lots of channels. I appreciated the free bottles of water in the rooms. You can see the ocean from the top of the stairs—beautiful!

I booked a pool side king bed room, unfortunately got some with a parking view.
I've asked to change my room, but it was not possible. It was confusing.

I traveled alone and my room was small; the bathroom even smaller. But I don’t think my room was indicative of what others will get.
So for good things…. Super clean. Room has a fridge and microwave and desk to eat at. WiFi was decent. You can walk to a small beach in 10 minutes and to shops and restaurants even closer. Being an older property, I was expecting thin walls but seemed very quiet to me. Pool is outdoors, heated but small.
Overall it’s expensive (I had probably their smallest room, not peak season and it was $245/night after taxes.) But all of Santa Barbara is ridiculously expensive so maybe don’t hold that against them. Given the location, it is probably decent value.

Great location, simple, but good overall hotel. They also offer free bikes, with helmet and lock, which is very convenient to go to the local beaches. Staff is very friendly. Room was a little dark. No breakfast in the hotel, but there are plenty of options at walking distance.

I enjoyed it. Privately to the owners, the carpet could be replaced, it was a little musty. Weather allowed open windows so all was very lovely. Thank you!

This is a very cute retro Inn! Wonderful staff and fantastic location! We enjoyed our overnight stay and would like to stay again when we come back to Santa Barbara!

The location is fabulous, and the beds are very comfortable, however the rooms and bathrooms are dilapidated and smell. The windows don't open or close easily. It is an old structure that is too new to be quaint and too old to be functionally comfortable. I had a slug in my first room and it smelled like a sewer, so I asked for a switch. The second room still had a strong musty smell but better.

They have bikes for guests to use, we biked down to the harbour. Had a lovely swim in the heated pool. The property is older but really well maintained.

Very friendly office staff, no matter the time of day! Our room was wonderfully clean and comfortable. I am puzzled, however, by the need to charge a parking fee. If the management wants to ensure that only motel guests park in the lot, couldn't they just issue the hanging permit to all paying guests? We would definitely stay here again, as it is very conveniently located to the 101 freeway and Montecito shops.

Found 2 hairs when I got into bed. Room smelled weird. The shower was just sad.

Perfect “cheap & cheerful” place to spend 1 night in Montecito and be able to walk around town. Clean room, comfy bed. Bathroom is very small & could use more layoff (shelves)
