Easy check in and nicely designed room. Would stay again.

So much noise during the night by the staff without regard for sleeping guests. Awaked at 6am by staff slamming doors

We stayed here for 1 night following a concert at the fairgrounds. The facility was clean, staff was great and accomdations were excellent. Would highly recommend and will stay again! Thank you.

The room was nice and big. The breakfast was good.

Could not understand a word. The guy at the front desk said, and he didn’t even try to make it where we could understand him. He kept saying that my card wouldn’t work which made absolutely no sense because I paid for the room months ago we literally had to sit in the waiting room in the middle of the night for quite a while to get anything, resolved until I finally said, I was going to leave and that I was going to have to have my daughter drive us three hours home who is a high risk pregnancy right now was not happy. horrible service, horrible experience. It was not resolved until the next morning when the lady working at the front desk said that she would take care of it, and not to worry about it.

Everything went well.

Seemed it was under construction, pillows flat, containers lined the back.

Clean! Clean! Clean! Pride in the workers for what they were doing on their jobs.

We are really glad we stayed there. My wife had looked at the rooms of a couple of hotels in neighboring towns and decided against staying there, but she was thrilled with our experience at the Hiawassee Holiday Inn Express.

No comment Breakfast was below par. No cinnamon buns and bar not organized well.

When I arrived the safety lock did not work on the door, the outside access did not work my Tv was broken the next night and the maintenance person had taken the week off, if it had not been got Kayla and Amanda who repaired and replaced these items I would have been very upset. They and the other ladies made my trip there pleasant. Thank goodness got such employees.

The facility was slightly unclean, understandably due to the ongoing renovation. The room's mini-fridge did not work. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again. Thank you!

The property is in the finishing stages of a remodel. Good to see they are keeping it up to standards

Electric blinds did not work. They moved us to another room and the blinds did not work in that room either. Think may be an issue. Staff was really good about it

The room was nice and roomy.

The front staff was excellent! They made the best of very bad situation. With that much construction going on Tiling floors on the whole first floor was crazy. Painting in the hallway that was then getting tracked into the rooms. We got moved but the situation was crazy. To pay full price in this situation was not right. Breakfast was minimal as we tiptoed around some of the area being tiled and some not. Seating was inadequate, as was options. The pool area could have been set up with seating but it was not.

The whole property is under MAJOR construction/remodeling. The check in process was fast and easy and the best part of our stay. Our whole floor smelled like cigarettes from people propping the door and smoking constantly. We were nearest to the door so it was always happening. Breakfast was ok. The toaster was broken so it was pretty annoying you couldn’t make toast or heat a bagel. The waffle maker was not working either. The pool was not attractive in any way. Seemed very unclean. My parents had to be relocated from their first room due to the whole 3rd floor overpowered with paint fumes. Wet paint everywhere was just bothersome. I don’t know why we are paying full price for a hotel that’s clearly in transitions. It just took away from our family vacation.

They are in the middle of renovations in the lobby area but our room is very nice!!! I was a little unsure how the renovations would affect checking but it was super fast and easy!

The property is nearing the end of a renovation, so this is where you want to stay

The hotel was in the midst of a major renovation. The lobby was a construction zone. There was no front desk, only a small table. Drywall dust was everywhere. The first floor hallway was only partially carpeted, with drywall dust everywhere. I drove out of my way to stay at this hotel, in a small town. I should've been made aware of the condition. The third party I booked through made no mention of the state of the property.

They are remodeling right now but its going to look amazing when they are done. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

Massive renovations happening right now. That was inconvenient, and I wish I had known ahead of time. Nonetheless, our room was great, I was pleased with it. Breakfast was great. Property has indoor pool, but the pool deck is normal tile, and that tile is super slick. The pool deck is also angled slightly with incline leading to the pool itself. I was concerned with my three year old walking on pool deck, losing his balance, and rolling into pool. All in all, I would stay here again, the issues are nothing that we can’t work around and deal with!

Had it not been for construction i would have rated this a 5 star. Remodeling going on so it could not be helped. Staff were excellent and continental breakfast was great.

No one informed us the entire hotel was under construction. Very loud, prior notification would have been acceptable if they had publicized renovations were occurring. We asked for a discounted rate but nothing was done. Will not stay there again due handling of the situation.

Booked my hotel reservation through hotel.com. Hotel doubled charged me. Never told me they charged my credit card for $600+ After discovering charge on statement, I contacted hotel. I have called 3 times and each time I’m told that the Manager will contact me, but I have not received a call. Matter is still unresolved after 2 weeks.

Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating.

There was no indication that the entire hotel was going through renovations. Literally, every place was under renovation--to charge such a high price in such a condition in truly uncalled for. Most places renovate one area at a time and write some note on their website.

Hada great time. Staff was so friendly, and very helpful to accommodating our needs. Great trip.

Only issues; pool was over chlorinated and there was not water fountain or ice water at the drink station.

Everything was wonderful. From the time we checked in, until we left. Even though the were under renovation it was dtill spectacular. The pool area was good, breakfast was extra special. Our room was great. I Give 5 stars for the whole experience.
