Staff went over and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable.

Fire alarm went off in middle of the night. Room was extremely cold due to heater not working.

Everything was great except for the midnight false fire alarm and evacuation using the ice-covered stairs in -10C outside temperatures.

We enjoyed our stay and the facilities but the hotel put a few strange charges on my card. We booked a second night and were told we would be charged the same rate but in the end we were charged extra money over two separate charges. The building is well kept the rooms are clean and comfortable with a decent view.

No toothbrush... have to get at front desk. No slippers unless requested. Have to pay extra for overnight parking.

Generally good. Except the room is lacking in lighting in one of the corners. With a sofa and half of the room curtain is locked. That whole area without a lamp is practically unusable. Hotel is only a few minutes to sky train station which makes it convenient. Many shops and restaurants are in the area.

Located near the corner of North Road and Lougheed and within 10 minutes to the Port Man bridge. Spacious lobby with a restaurant and a separate pub and liquor store. Covered parking is available for a small fee. Front desk staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The room was super clean, bedding was comfy , no regrets

Great value for the price. Room is clean even though the building is not newly built. Staff are helpful and polite. The only issue I noticed was wifi being unstable from time to time, and the air fan was a bit loud.

I did a staycation and booked one night for a work-related Christmas Party. The staff person at the front desk was charming, informative and helpful. The following day, at 7:45 am, I woke to a fire alarm in the room. I quickly dressed and headed for the hallway. There, I met other guests who were very upset and confused about the fire alarm procedure. Some elderly guests would return to their rooms and wait for the end. There was no staff in sight the whole time. We found the exit gate on the ground floor to be locked. It took two full-grown people to force it open. Once again, there was no staff giving instructions. (I did see the cleaning staff inside, waiting in a room). The guests assembled outside and waited for the fire trucks to arrive. A few people started to head in after standing in the cold and rain. A woman positioned inside the front door (I'm guessing the floor manager) apologized and said it was a false alarm. I planned to explore the hotel and the amenities, but the fire alarm consumed most of the morning. I'm surprised the hotel staff couldn't offer a later Check Out. It would have allowed me to enjoy my stay. At check out, I asked the staff member at the counter if there was a safety plan in case of a fire. They said they were not aware of one and apologized for the alarm. I mentioned that no staff members were directing the upset guests, and she had no answer. Based on the lack of guest engagement, especially at the time of need.

Top notch service, excellent food, extremely comfortable beds and indoor parking. What else could you ask for?

It was listed as a luxury hotel. Def not that. It’s a bit dated. The water in the bathroom sink was scorching hot, whether or not it was set to cold or hot and for no matter how long you ran the tap. There was no casino shuttle - as listed so we ended up paying an extra $30 in Uber fees. Loud nightclub next door with sketchy people outside (and one inside) when we arrived back at the hotel around midnight.

Lot of local places to grab food, drinks and easy access to seceral major routes. Wide variety of food options and all were high quality and well prepared. Room was clean, comfortable, and a nice view.

Always a good place to stay right off the highway and right by the skytrain!
