Great vacation , clean hotel and friendly staff. Carlos the server was very helpful , pool was nice and clean and the bar was nice. Shows at night, they have to improve. The Asian dinner was amazing love it .

I really liked the people I interacted with at the hotel. They were all courteous, friendly and helpful. The only major disappointment were issues I had with my room key. It often didn’t work, for reasons I was told. However I should have never been required to go back and forth to the front desk to get my key reprogrammed on one occasion three times. I additionally the first room assigned did not have any operational locks??????

The beach is stunning. Lifeguards on duty. You can swim in the ocean! Some seaweed and the waves aren’t terrible. The buffets are okay, good variety and each day has a new theme. The Italian, Japanese and Mexican restaurants are amazing! Only downfall is you eat so late. The earliest reservation is 7pm. Rooms are nice. They are clean. Pool has a swim up bar which is nice. The staff are all very friendly. There is a club but each nice it had maybe 10 people in it. If you’re looking to party in to the wee hours of the morning this isn’t the place for you. At 11pm the resort goes quiet.

The property was clean and well-maintained. Staff was very friendly and always ready to help. My stay here was great. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

I like the layout of the property as everything was closed like the buffet, the lobby, the pool and the beach. The food was good and there were many options but it was like the same type food every day. The pool was not that clean, however the thing I found very disgusting was the rooms and the bathrooms. They are very outdated. There were mold on the lines of the tiles, the toy let was very dirty on the bottom part. I don’t think the hotel is 5 starts anymore. The pictures on the websites are probably from when they first built the hotel. But now the rooms need attention. Also, there were not many activity through the day, I am not sure if it was because we stood in the hotel from a Wednesday to a Saturday but I believe they should have activity in the pool are through out the week as there maybe in the weekends.

I stayed in this hotel because family members had a good experience in the past. However, since the moment I arrived things started going south. The staff was rude, not attentive and sometimes they even ignored clients. My room was in the #5 building, the AC was working at the min, the fridge barely worked, you had to stay pressing the toilet flush handle for at least 1min for it to flush. Food was cold and NO COFFEE in the buffet. The noise and loudness at night was crazy. I would not recommend this hotel. One of my worst experiences.

The only think that is they need more animation and music

Absolutely loved the landscaping of the entire property, it was beautiful at night to walk around. The food service at the Italian restaurant could have been much better. Esther was fantastic and one of our favorites. We did not like the heckling to buy more champagne bottles from Paola. I do think there needs to be a dress code policy for the buffet. One of the hostess’s Paola, stopped me to ask me to cover up when there were several other women in bathing suit tops. Not just to pick and choose certain people or times or which part needs to be covered at their convenience. There does need to be more activities for the young adults. The towel booth shouldn’t have to be the ones supplying the music, that’s what the activity people need to do. Vanilla, pina colada and chocolate were great with the activities we really enjoyed them. My room was kept up very nicely and the bed was beyond comfortable. I was very grateful to the woman at the front desk who switch my room when there was a leak in my ceiling.

I love this property overall. The staff is always very helpful and courteous. The accommodations are comfortable and we got an upgrade. However, we would love to see more variety in the buffet/restaurants like more Dominican cuisine (meat pies, sancocho etc).
Also consider having a good area for guests arriving from excursions like ATV riding. We were denied entrance to the snack buffet because we were a bit muddy, and we couldn’t rinse off because then we’d be too wet to go into the snack bar. Those are the only recommendations for improvement.

Mini bar with no alcohol is not a minibar. Yea I was at an all inclusive and only had to go down to the bar. But the cups they give are tiny so you have to sit at the bar. What if I want to relax in my room?
NEVER PAY FOR UPGRADE room. I upgraded to a “ocean view” and even told the guy (In Spanish, my wife is Dominican) not to give us a view of a tree. So, we got a view of the tree. And the bars and restaurants are way too far away from these.
So back to minibar. Not worth the extra cost. Overall friendly and clean though.

Great associates and great Service.
The rest, I order not to go on many details, needs
a total facilities remodeling and upgrade.
Only 2 and a half restaurants (Italian) and the buffet, please…build a new one.
No restrooms in the spa.
At one moment time, there is nothing to eat at this hotel.
“Italian rest have “big shrimp” in the menu !
I asked and they mean Lobster.
Little cot roaches in my room, a first for me.
More details….
Buying vacation club ? Nothing to consider.
Sorry, Not coming back.

We didn’t get the beach view room that we booked and they didn’t do anything to rectify this. We were able to get a room at 1:30 instead of 3:30, but we would have waited to have the view we paid for/ booked. The toilet clogged a few times and the second time they took a very long time to respond. Overall we had a good stay, but those few hiccups stand out in my mind.

The resort was good. Area clean service is good.
