The Holiday Inn at Camp Pendleton is a wonderful place to stay when I take a short vacation in Oceanside. The rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious, and quiet. There is ample parking. The beach and quaint marina shopping/ dining area is a brief walk away.

I called the property the day before letting them know I was so ill and there was no way I could travel and would have to miss my event. The guy who answered was so off putting and rude and told me to contact Expedia, as the hotel wouldn't refund me and said, well, give the room to a friend. So, I tried Expedia, whose chat was down, no way to speak with anyone. I tried again on Sunday as I was too sick to deal over the weekend. They contacted to hotel, who refused to refund me...
Needless to say, I won't be staying at any Holiday Inn again, and, I'm cancelling my Expedia acct.

Everything was great except the idiot above me stomping while walking! Not sure what they were doing but sounded like they were marching or pacing for 3 hrs straight 10-12pm. Then again at 7am. Other than that this hotel location, price cleanliness, was great

When we arrived there was a person inside a parked car right out in front under the covered parking and it looked like he slept in his car and I didn’t feel safe parking my car there

Horrible on fees advertising something get there charge a different amount was supposed to refund my card and they never did they are horrible and coke up with several excuses when requested refund would never book with them again

There was sand in the bed and a blood stain on the sheets.

AC unit was broken in my room. My girlfriend and I were hot the whole time. Horrible. Other than that everything was good.

It is a short walking distance to the harbor and beach. Park and don’t have to leave. I received a complimentary upgrade due to my birthday. Thank you.. Disappointed they didn’t have coffee in the morning. Overall I will rebook for another vacation in the future.

The coffee machine is broken, but Ramon the maintenance staff change it with the brand new one. Also we get late check out until 12 00 pm.

Looked worn and old also smell of old building. It did not help that at check in after booking a king bed I was told that had to settle for a double because I did not book thru the hotel itself. My first and last time staying there. I will not return there.

The first morning just after 6am a U-Haul rental truck tried to drive through the parking garage, but was too tall and took out a major water pipe, setting off the fire alarm. All guests had to evacuate. Eventually, they got the water turned off and we all returned to our rooms. Quite exciting! However, the next morning at 6:40am, the fire alarm went off again. No reason given. Went off after about 2 minutes. Nerve wracking. Otherwise a very nice stay.

Our room was on the side by the road and across from the trailers. It was very noisy. A couple came to the room next door to us and was yelling and banging on the door for about a half an hour calling for someone named Devon. They left and came back again about 6am. Also when I checked my card I was charged more than what I was quoted when I made the reservation.

Our stay was great. The check in was fast and the staff were friendly. The lobby was really nice. The rooms were decent. I also liked that they had a charging station for electric vehicles. The only constructive feedback I would give to the owner is to power wash the outside of the building.

For the money, I'm a little disappointed about the stay here. Not a bad hotel by any stretch, but it would be nice to have at least complimentary guest coffee in the morning. If you're looking to be close to the beach there is a public parking lot around the corner you can park at and then stay somewhere else for much cheaper.

Horrible stay, condition of hotel is also not so good. Fire alarm went off 4 times in one night. The room was musty with BO. I left this hotel. I will never use hotel.com to book another hotel stay because of the cancellation policy on situations like I experienced. They will do everything not to give you your money back.

Disappointed with hotel, no chairs to sit in, in my room. Only 3 bath towels in room with 2 adults and a 3 day stay. Little kitchenette had no silverware or dishes to use. Paid $240/night. Disappointed!

We travel a lot every summer & stay in many different hotels - this is probably the best accessible room I’ve ever stayed in.
The property wasn’t worth the service fees added to the qoated rate. Very expensive for really no service.

Easy access to our event in Camp Pendelton & the highway to San Diego. Great parking and enjoyed the convenience of walking to the restaurants at the marina & Very close to the Oceanside Pier.
