Staff was great, very helpful, and accommodating.

This birthday trip was perfect. Staff were amazing... food was good... great location.... very quiet and drinks flowing all day and night.... we will be back!!!! Thanks SoCo :)

The Hotel is Advertised as All Inclusive, Adults Only but there were many restrictions, food and beverages are only available during specific meal times. Certain items on the menu you have to pay additional for, certain drink selections are also charged an additional fee. There was no stipulations on the website that informed you prior to arrival of the restrictions and although it’s advertised as Adults only they don’t state that the beaches are public so there was many children present on the beach area available for individuals staying at the Hotel. The Soco Hotel was one of the higher priced All Inclusive Adults only Hotels and was not worth the money they charge nor meet any of the expectations advertised.

The staff was incredibly helpful and extremely friendly. They went out of their way to meet all of our needs. Highly recommend!

I would have given this property 3 stars if the place wasn’t infested with roaches and the hotel was located right in front of a busy road. The noise from the heavy car traffic is very disturbing in the morning. We found a massive cockroach in our room. When it rains the whole place gets flooded, everything will get canceled, and you will be stuck in your room for the rest of the day. The food was okay but need more options. The pool and the beach were good, very relaxing and quiet. The drinks were okay. Overall experience was okay, they need some major property renovations and fixing the cockroaches issue.

Wonderful resort for couples. The food was amazing especially the dinner options. They were different choices every day. Michelle the bartender was so welcoming so took many photos for me and made the best drinks! I love that she anticipates my needs. Stephanie at front desk was also sooo welcoming and made us feel right at home! Love it there will definitely be going back.

We stayed at SoCo because we were visiting Barbados Fertility Centre which is a 3 min walk away. The staff is outstanding and went above and beyond. All 3 meals a day were personally cooked for each of us and included in the price. A couple days due to raging hormones they fulfilled my request of sandwiches that weren’t in the menu. They provide beach towels, chairs and free drinks. Every room looks over the beautiful ocean. Since it’s small with only 24 rooms, you get to know the other guests. We also loved all 3 bartenders we met. Highly recommend! We will be back for sure. The sooner the better.

Roaches and Rats… food options very limited

Soco Hotel is a lovely place to stay, with a small number of rooms so it doesn't feel crowded at all. The food is excellent and there is generally plenty of choice. Same goes for the bar. The best thing about the hotel though is the staff. They are absolutely lovely, really friendly and helpful. They make your stay special!

This hotel should be closed and updated. Air conditioners did not work, phones in rooms did not work, linnens not changed, ....the list goes on and on....I would NOT recommend this hotel. This was by far the worst vacation I have been on.

The entire hotel was very elegant and nice. The staff was very friendly and assisted us on our hineymoon since we had just gotten married. The only thing I would suggest to add is adding snacks in lobby or dining area. The hotel is all inclusive but it is specifoc times to eat. Some times if your on excursions or away you dont always get to eat so adding snacks would be a great way to still give guest a snack until the next meal time. I got sick and wasnt feeling well and i needed to eat something. My husband went to get toast but a quick snack wouldve made it easier accessible. Great stay overall. Beach was right there, bar was on ppint with the drinks, staff was very knowledable and just over very kind.

Beautiful hotel. Every person that works at this hotel very friendly, helpful. The food was amazing and the view of the ocean from our room the best. Cannot wait to go back again.

Back of the hotel, pool area with water view was gorgeous. Food was mediocre, at best. Bartenders were awesome. Housekeeping was mediocre. A couple of the younger people in the restaurant obviously didn’t want to work. Lady in reception was wonderful.

Size of the hotel was nice and the quality of the food was excellent. However, the noise from the street was unpleasant and the condition of the bathroom was disappointing. Overall, we were happy with our stay at the hotel.

I can genuinely say I’ve never experienced a hotel quite like this, from the minute we arrived we were welcomed like old friends, this high level of service was consistent throughout our stay adding to what was already a fantastic destination. The hotel was clean, the food was excellent combining local and international cuisine with a good helping of Bajun hospitality!

The staff at this hotel were absolutely great. Ashley and Michelle were terrific. They were very warm, welcoming, and helpful. You could not get a better location for this hotel---right on the new boardwalk steps from the ocean. You can hear the ocean from your room. The area has a lot of shops and restaurants. The bartenders were a lot of fun, made great drinks, and did not skimp on the alcohol. The food was very good.There was a safe protected area to swim in the ocean. Most of guests were Brits or Canadians - many who had stayed at the hotel several times. Downsides - our bathroom in our room was dated, not very elegant, and needed updating. Otherwise our room was fine. The wifi service was spotty, not very strong, and not working very well for a few days during our stay. That should be a priority item for the hotel to address as soon as possible as people cannot be offline these days. The hotel's wifi system should be updated, strengthened, and made more powerful. If the hotel would address the bathroom and wifi issue, you could not find a better place to stay.

Michelle went above and beyond for us when my husband got sick fr the sun. Shane our bartender was phenomenal. All the staff was always attentive and caring. They took very good care of us...we will return!

Excellent all inclusive. Very friendly and helpful staff. Small hotel so got to know staff well and they referred to guests by name. Excellent food. A la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fully inclusive drinks with branded spirits. Small suggestions: White, rose and red wine good but would be nice to have choice of more than one type of white wine. Also perhaps offer Prosecco (or equivalent) although it is available to purchase. Overall brilliant holiday. We will be back.

It is a small, well run property. We enjoyed the beach and the swimming pool. The boardwalk was right there. Staff were always helpful and friendly. The food and cocktails are excellent. We most definitely want to return next year.

My stay at the Soco Hotel was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is within walking distance to my shops and restaurants. The beach access was great although small. The boardwalk is right there as well. Overall I was happy with my stay and would return.

Fantastic location right on the beach and really excellent food and staff. However, the bedrooms and bathrooms need updating and in my case deep cleaning. Wi-Fi was poor and very limited. Overall we had a great time but the hotel needs to upgrade before it loses its unique charm.

Would like to give a special thank you to Clyve and Michelle and an additional EXTRA thank you to ASHLEY for going above & beyond in providing excellent customer service. Loved that hotel was on the beach and that shopping was within walking distance.

It was nice- not exeptionally, but in case I come again to Barbados , I would go to the soko Hotel

The staff was great but the property wasn't up to date. It could use a well needed renovation including the water pressure in the bathrooms and new mattresses.

Clean hotel with great access around the island. Staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. Would stay here again
