The staff and food in the restaurant were fine but the food took ages to arrive and the salad wasn't great. Too much oil. The tempurature in swimming pool wasn't great. A little chilly. The room was fine. Still, I'd return next time

Save your back, money and works and just book elsewhere. The Anchor Inn and Suites is outdated, uncomfortable and some of the staff, unprofessional.

Room was pet friendly so was nice it was easy to get in and out with the dog! Room was old and smelled musty!

The place is quiet and on the ocean. It is close to town. The driveway to the back is steep.

Great view from the lounge and restaurant but it closes too early --8:30pm for a lounge is too early.

This is the third time we have stayed in this wonderful hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful and we have not experienced one single issue with this hotel!

Beautiful ocean view! Breakfast pretty good for $7.95. Comfortable beds. Nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room.

needs the addition of USB ports in the rooms - it's an expected thing. The bathroom fan wasn't working. View is excellent!

Clean room

This hotel has jaw dropping views and is very reasonably priced! The only drawback is that the 5th and 6th floors are accessible by stairs only but an elevator takes you to the fourth floor. It’s well worth the exercise given the price and view!

The hotel is comfortable and the staff are friendly. I found that some repairs were under way, but not too much problem for guests. Beds were very nice. We will stay there again next week!

The pros : Pleasant, helpful staff. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Nice view. Cons: Room was dark, no light over the table. No hooks on the back of bathroom door. The light over the bathroom mirror only worked in conjunction with the fan which was loud. No recycling. Carpets etc are well worn. Towels clean but scratchy. A tired hotel which requires renovating.

Unexpected surprise! Loved the spacious balcony and view, rooms were cleaned everyday and staff was very cheerful and helpful. Lovely stay with two young kids.

Hotel room was tired and in need of renovation.Carpet old and stained.Room had a faint door of old cigarette smoke.When I went to dry my hair I plugged in the blow dryer and the power went out.The house keeping staff tried to get the power back on but were unsuccessful and kindly let me go into the room next door to dry my hair.Once I finished drying my hair the power came back on.Spoke with the front desk upon check out regarding the condition of the carpet and the power outage.and was advised that they would have the carpet cleaned after we checked out. Not the first time we’ve stayed at this hotel but it will be the last.

Tons of parking if you use the lower parking lot on the water. Clean rooms, good bang for your buck.
