Wonderful 2 night stay!!
The room was so comfortable and clean - the staff helpful and wonderful - breakfast, snack and drink area enjoyable - walkable stroll into Southern Village with shops, coffee and eating places around the Green.
Best place that we stayed in our week long Road Trip.

Hotel is an interesting location where it is down the hill and not connected by road with Southern Village. You do have pedestrian access via a walkway from the 3rd floor and then it’s a short hike up the hill to the town center.
The hotel is looking a bit worn and may need a renovation soon. The elevator floor buttons for eg. are worn out.
Breakfast was good and plentiful. Rooms themselves are comfortable and clean, though no one came in and made up our room for the 2nd night of our stay.
All in all an ok place to stay.

Was amazing. Place was super clean. The front desk staff was excellent (especially the woman with the really curly hair - treat my kid fantastic, I wish I got her name). And breakfast was good!

We have stayed at Hyatt Place many times since it first opened. It’s clean & service is excellent but the hotel is showing its age. Desk light was malfunctioning, wall sconce lightbulb was out. We didn’t care for our room this time as it was small & dark but bed was comfortable & we weren’t in our room much.

Hands down the best hotel experience we have ever had and we travel a lot. The hotel was extremely clean, very nice and the staff were beyond friendly! It is also very conveniently located within minutes from downtown Chapel Hill and within a short walking distance to an area with many food and store options.

Very friendly staff and king suite is exactly what we needed ! Extra pillows and blankets. Very quiet and 3 min drive to UNC ! We will book again !

Our room was clean with no toilet issues. There was a couch with a pull out bed which worked well for my 14 yo. I love the universal electric vehicle charger. They should add more since they only have one. they also have 2 tesla chargers. breakfast was good

Toilet had some issues and trash wasn’t taken out when we checked into our room, also took a minute for someone to come to check in counter, we were supposed to have a king but had a queen bed

Loved the Hotel- very nice staff- very nice accommodations. Close to the hospital we were traveling back and forth too. Will stay there again for sure.

The toilet did not work in the first room they put me in, and the TV was not connected to the cable hook-up in the second room, so the TV essentially did not work until someone came to fix it. These are simple things that should not have been a problem. And there was a barking dog across the hall.

4 minutes away from UNC Campus, my sons had to have surgery was so convenient to stay here and not have to deal with traffic or trying to find our way.

Perfect place to stay. All front desk people were so nice. Came down just after 9 for breakfast on Monday and didn’t realize it closed early. The kitchen host was so gracious to get me some food that she had just taken back. Very nice!! If I had business, I would love to hire anyone of your employees there. Thanks, CS

This is always our go to hotel when we visit family. They greet you like family, always helpful, food is very good. Best hot free breakfast buffet that we've ever found in our travels. The rooms are immaculate - Never found a room substandard. If traveling along - always feel safe there. Pricing is very reasonable for all that you get - Love this place!

Birthday trip was a success with a Tarheel win and a great hotel. Check-in was smooth with ananda (hope I spelled it right) with her inviting personality and knowledge, danielle on the evening shift helping us celebrate my birthday she went above and beyond her duties to make sure we where satisfied when she didn’t have to. Beds where decent but not bad, location not far from dean dome franklin st and plenty other things to do. Enjoyed it and will be back next time we attend a game GO HEELS!!!

This is my forth stay. We love this hotel because the staff of the best, the breastfast is wholesome, and the room are clean and modern.

Upon entering the lobby, it's still very bad, it smells like somebody's body found from about 3 weeks of not taking a bath, and I noticed some young man over on his computer hunched in the corner maybe doing some homework or researching, and I think the phone was coming from him. When we came back later on he was gone and the lobby smelled good. This is a nice hotel to stay at
