We had a wonderful family vacation at Bella Villa at the St. Regis/Bahia Beach resort and we would certainly return. Thank you to Arturo and Ricardo for making it such a wonderful experience. The entire resort is a luxurious and private tropical retreat. The photos in the VRBO listing accurately reflect the villa. Sleek, elegant, well equipped. We spent a lot of time on the balcony listening to rustle of the palm trees, the roar of the ocean in the distance and the frogs at night. The unit, which is on the second floor of the building, overlooks the 9th hole of the (exceptional) golf course. The kitchen had all the equipment needed for light vacation cooking -- though it does not come with basics such as salt/pepper/oil due to COVID procedures. Plan accordingly. The third bedroom doesn't have an exterior window -- but it was cozy and all three bedrooms had their own private baths. The washer/dryer worked great and the primary bedroom suite was wonderful. Large TVs in all bedrooms also very nice with relatively easy access to streaming platforms. The activities at the resort are perfect for families. Golf, water obstacle courses (love!), paddleboarding/kayaking, paddleball, tennis, bikes, nature trails, spa. All top-notch and completely uncrowded, even in high season. The Members Beach Club felt super exclusive with an elegant pool, plenty of chairs and umbrellas, direct access to the beach, a bar and restaurant. Quiet and elegant. We also spent time at the wonderful St. Regis Hotel pool which is equally as luxurious but with a more family vibe as well as the small, private beach & bar on the eastern edge of the property. Through Arturo and Ricardo, we rented a golf cart, which really helped us to get around to all of the activities. The food options at this time were a bit limited. For dinner, the only option available to us was the Beach Club Restaurant, which was very nice with good food. The Paros restaurant was only available to St. Regis guests and Sea Grapes was only open for breakfast and lunch (and it's quite good). But this forced us to "leave campus" for a couple of dinners at nearby restaurants, which was fun. My only regret was not renting a car for our visit. The concierge services associated with this villa still have kinks to be worked out and a car would have better allowed me to do the grocery shopping myself, get to nearby restaurants and do El Yunque and San Juan on our own schedules.
