We enjoyed our three nights at Marina’s Florence apartment. Walking anywhere is easy. We appreciated the clean and spacious accommodations and the washer was a bonus. Very quiet at night. Marina made checking in easy and she was helpful with questions. Bravo!

We have been to many VRBO rentals but have never met anyone as kind as thorough as Marina. She was helpful in planning our time. The unit was immaculate and perfectly located. We were only sorry that we had such a short stay. Thank you for a wonderful visit and we hope to return!

Very nice apartment for two, and outstanding location. Marina was very friendly and extremely helpful with her suggestions and recommendations. Be advised, the apartment is on the “second” floor, up sixty steps from the street.

This property was as advertised….clean, close to everything, comfortable with great AC, a great shower/bathroom and even a washer! We had come from 3 other cities and had quite a bit of laundry, but we were able to get it all done. We hung dry everything and it was all dry by the morning! Maria was super sweet, prompt with her responses and was an overall fantastic host!

This was such a great apartment on an adorable street right off of the Santa Croce square. There is a cab stand half a block away if needed but you probably won't because everything is walkable from this location. There are cafe's and little bars all around this place. There is a walk up about three flights of stairs so just something to note, but that was a nice little jaunt after eating all of the amazing food everyday! Marina was an incredible host! Thank you!

We had such a wonderful time in the apartment and in Florence. The apartment is in a great location within 5-15 minutes walking distance from all the major sights. The San Croce neighborhood is lovely with lots of local restaurants and bars. It makes you feel like you are living like a local. Marina was a wonderful host. Very communicative and responsive. She kindly help us arrange taxi’s on 2 occasions. The check in and check out process was smooth and easy. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone coming to Florence.

This apartment in Santa Croce was the perfect home base for our visit to Florence. It is very nicely equipped with lots of little touches like toiletry items you may have forgotten. There are 60 steps to the apartment so getting our 45 pound suitcases up the stairs was a bit of a challenge but fortunately we only had to do that once. Otherwise it was good exercise to wear off the pasta and wine!Marina is an excellent host. She texted us a few times during our 12 night stay to make sure all was ok. She is very well organized and provided lots of suggestions for things to see and do during our stay.The Santa Croce neighbourhood is beautiful with easy access to all Florence sites. We enjoyed restaurants nearby and would particularly recommend Vivoli (gelato and breakfast) and Caffe Italiano (dinner).

The apartment is cozy, light and airy, and has double pane windows so street noise is not a problem. The location is simply perfect for exploring the city. It is steps off of Piazza Santa Croce and has such a neighborhood feel. There are so many great small restaurants within the few blocks surrounding the apartment. Highly recommended is Finisterrae on the Piazza for coffee and pastry in the morning. Marina was such a gracious host, even texting us to warn about some flooding and bad weather so we didn’t take a day trip and run into it. We can’t wait to return to Florence and stay here again!

We absolutely loved Marina’s place. It is a completely renovated in a modern, comfortable decor. Well located, clean and well equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher and other conveniences. The kitchen is small but completely functional. FYI there is no oven. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Florence and would highly recommend this property.

We were absolutely delighted with our choice of apartments during our latest visit to Florence when we stayed here between August 21st and 25th. Clean, modern, comfortable, well-appointed - and in a great location - this apartment has everything we look for when we travel. We did not meet Marina, however, communication leading up to our stay was very good, and check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. We would highly recommend the apartment and would not hesitate to stay here the next time we are in Florence.

My wife and I stayed for 7 nights from 23 June to 20 June. We flew direct with BA from Birmingham to Florence. The apartment has a great location and is on one of the few curved streets in the city. A bit of research will explain why this is. The apartment is perfect for 2 but could take 4. Florence is busy all year and having a space like this to escape the heat and crowds is very useful. We much preferred this to a hotel room. The apartment has been renovated to a high modern spec which we liked. the bathroom and kitchen are particularly well done. We saw a lot and walked a lot but only scratched the surface of Florence. I don't recommend trying to see to much because the surprises are the things you didn't plan that you remember. You can always come back for another visit and we would stay here again. Do take some time outside of the city. We took the number 7 bus to Fiesole which offers the best views of Florence for €1.50 each. We also took the bus to Siena which is quicker than the train. Siena is beautiful and I recommend just wandering the streets for the whole day then eating dinner and getting a late bus back. This is cheaper and more flexible than the tour companies. Siena certainly warrants a full day. In summary a great apartment, a great host and altogether a great trip.

We loved our stay at Marina’s place. Great location. Walking distance to everything you want to explore in Florence. Marina met us at the apartment and spent time with us to not only showed us the apartment but gave us detailed information about Florence. Places to visit, places to eat. And copy of the Florence map and more for us to take. She also booked a taxi for us for our departure to the train station. I recommend this place for short stay or even longer stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Florence. Marina met us at the apartment at the arranged time and was very helpful, telling us all about the apartment and the local area. The large amount of written information, maps and suggestions for restaurants, shops etc was much appreciated. We enjoyed the bottle of Chianti that Marina left for us. The apartment itself cannot be faulted! It is bright, stylish, well-equipped, comfortable and immaculate. Its location, just off the Piazza Santa Croce, is excellent for walking to any part of the city. The Piazza itself is a lovely place to sit and relax and the local restaurants are excellent. We did everything we had planned for our time in Florence and more. What a unique, fascinating and interesting city!

This was our first time to Italy to visit our daughter who was studying abroad and Marina could not of been a better host! Her attention to detail is superb and she really takes care of her guests. She even checked in with us half way through our stay to see if we needed anything. The apartment exceeded our expectations and the location is fabulous. You are right in the heart of Florence and everything is walk-able. Our daughter's apartment was a straight shot within 8 minutes of walking. Public transportation is available about a 15 minute walk away to get to the train or bus. We did several day trips to Cinque Terre, Siena, wine tasting in Chianti Region all with public transportation. The apartment had everything you needed if you wanted to stay in a cook and on our arrival was a bottle of wine. Like I said, the little details really matter and Marina's taste is wonderful! The apartment is beautifully decorated and clean. Marina, Thank you again for making our stay so enjoyable and we will definitely be back!

This is a modern apartment in a great location in Florence. It is equipped with all necessary amenities and extra comforts, like throw blankets, which were great for lounging on the couch when I was sick with a cold. Marina was helpful and communicated well with us to make arrangements for check out. The only downside is that there are restaurants near the apartment where many people stay out for a late, late night. I probably would have enjoyed being down there all night myself, if I hadn’t caught a cold, but, under the circumstances, it was a bit rough as I was trying to get a good night’s sleep so that I could enjoy more of Florence. Good news is that Marina is aware and is working on this issue :)

Marina met us at her property at an agreed upon time. She was very welcoming and showed us all around the apartment, including how to use various household facilities. Marina also provided us with a map and sat down to show us her favorite restaurants, as well as the location of the nearest supermarkets. She was very accommodating. As for the apartment itself, it was conveniently located just off of Santa Croce. It was clean, well kept and we had no problems. The kitchen had many amenities that made it feel like a home away from home, such as a coffee maker and tea kettle. She also kindly left water, juice and a few pastries for breakfast. It is clear that Marina prides herself on providing her guests with the best experience possible. The only thing she wasn't able to deliver was a reprieve from the rain. She made our experience in Florence that much better.

The front door of this lovely apartment opens up onto a small one-way cobblestone street with a direct view of Santa Croce about a hundred yards away. It's a nice neighborhood with lots of stores and restaurants but still quiet [at least in February!]. The apartment is bright and cheerful, cozy [great bed!] and well equipped. When we arrived, Marina generously spent nearly an hour with us sharing information on her favorite spots, including those coveted restaurant addresses often hard to come by. I had a chance to practice my Italian with her, and she even checked in with us during our stay to see how we were doing. This is a great find, and the only challenge to guests might be the long flight of stairs to the apartment [we had ski stuff with us] upon first arriving. The owner interaction is such a bonus and so superior to what you can expect in any hotel. Thank you, Marina!
