What a beautiful condo! Fit our extended family of 7 great. Nice and close to the pool and hot tub building as well. Just be aware there are a quite a few stairs to get into the unit if you have mobility issues.

The hosts were very quick to answer questions and provided detailed instructions for getting to and operating everything in the condo. Please note that a spiral staircase is used to access both the upper loft and lower level bedrooms.

We rented this property for our week at GNP. The property was exactly as promised in the VRBO description. It was well stocked with all of the necessities. The village amenities were wonderful and easy to access. The owners were extremely good at communicating both before and at any time we reached out during our stay. The village is a great quiet place to stay but is a reasonable distance from the village below the mountain that had all the gas, food, etc we needed. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great location, the downstairs is perfect for kids, and the kitchen had everything to be able to cook and not eat out every night.

We loved it! However, be prepared to walk a lot of steps up and back everyday and in hauling your stuff in. It’s a workout in itself but luckily we are all in good shape! The bathroom fans need to be cleaned, other than that it was very neat and clean! We had to wait until after 5:00 to get in as they were still cleaning. We would definitely come again! Thank you!

Great place to stay if you plan to explore Whitefish, Glacier Nat’l Park and surrounding area. Very well stocked with everything you need. We stayed when it was very hot so the fans and window air conditioner worked pretty well. The only challenge was the staircase but not that big of a deal with teenagers. Deck furniture was pretty dirty, but again, not a big deal.

We had a great week staying at Ptarmigan Village. We loved the pools and pond. Everything in the condo was as expected. It was clean and pretty quiet. We had plenty of room for our family of six. Would love to come back again if we head out that way.

Property was clean and supplied with items as stated. Property manager was quick to respond to any questions. We had read through the reviews and were aware of the spiral staircases and stairs leading to the condo. These may be tough for older individuals or little kids. For our family it was perfect. Location was close enough to town and Glacier National Park but remote enough to decompress. Pools and hot tub were clean and just a quick walk. Laundry facility was close and clean (it is $2 to wash and $2 to dry a load, bring quarters). Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend this property.

We had a great stay in this cabin! We are a family of 7 and there were comfortable beds for all of us. The kitchen was very well stocked with spices and all the things that just make things more convenient, like baggies and paper towels. Tim was very responsive with any questions or needs that we had. We enjoyed using the private beach that comes with the property as well as going into Glacier National Park (about a 45 min drive). I would recommend this cabin!

Nice place…but didn’t realize it was the furthest condo, I was aware of the stairs but didn’t realize the distance.. just be aware it is a walk up to the entrance. 😊
The condo is very tight, pictures show it looking bigger, it fit 4 of us but I wouldn’t put much more than that.

Lovely condo, worked great for our family. The check-in was clear and easy. Lots of beds which was nice for each of the three kids to have their own bed. Kitchen does not have much counter space, but was functional and had a variety of items to use if making your own meals. Overall, a great place! Thank you!

3 level condo is tucked away in it’s own wilderness complex. 2/3 of the way up to the ski hill base, this complex is very quiet The beds are comfy, kitchen is well stocked and the place was clean. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub area which you can walk to. Lots of parking and only 5 minutes to the ski hill and 10 minutes to downtown Whitefish. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

The first half of our group arrived at the property and it hadn’t been cleaned. They drove all day to get there, we’re tired and on their way to a hotel, pretty disappointed. Tim was so quick to respond, he caught them before they made it to the hotel, had the place immediately cleaned and bought them dinner. Really went above and beyond. Once it was clean, perfect spot. So close to the mountain, relaxing in the hot tub was great. Would definitely stay again.

This place was great. Only a few minutes drive from the mountain and we didn't feel too crowded with 8 people. The kids loved the pool and hot tub which was only a few minutes away. A great place for a great price!

What a beautiful location to stay! Quiet and tucked away it felt like we were alone in the woods. Easy access into Whitefish, Kalispell, Big Fork and West Glacier. Will definitely book here again for a future visit.

This condo had lots of room for 5 adults. It’s located close to the big mountain and town, yet still feeling secluded. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with all you would need. Beds were comfortable and the whole condo was very clean. There are many stairs to navigate both getting to the condo and in the condo, so it could be difficult for older people. (We were told this before we went- very good communication!) The showers are a little slippery -which means they were clean!- but that would be our only suggestion (for maybe a bath mat). Easy to park- great little trail close by around the pond. We didn’t use the pool, but it was close by. Great place to stay and Gia was great to communicate so quickly anytime I had a question.

Nice condo with plenty of room for our 4 kids and us on 3 levels plus a deck. Pool and hot tub were just a short walk and nice. Laundry building right next door. Condo has 25 steps but was fine for us. Condo just as described and clean! Good location to get away from busyness of whitefish.

The place was just as expected. Many amenities. Owners very responsive. Pools, sauna, hot tub and hot showers felt great after long days of hiking. Several of my brothers and sisters, and their families, stayed in the Ptarmigan Village which made the stay extra special and fun.

A great stay in a great condo! Very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked for family meals. Gia (owner) was very responsive and great at communicating key updates. Our daughters loved the indoor & outdoor pools, hot tub, and overall proximity to Whitefish. Be aware this unit reqiures many stairs to access from parking, and the different floors. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Loved staying here, out in the woods. Felt like we were far away, but only a few minutes into Whitefish. Recommended for any time except the hottest week of the year - the fans and air conditioning tried, but it was still warm.

We (2 families each with a pre-teen boy) stayed here for 3 nights and had a fantastic time!!! The condo was wonderful. The boys thought the twisty stairs were "so cool". Location to the indoor pool/hot tub and playground was great. We took advantage of the private beach that was also great. I cannot say enough about how great the communication with the host was, every single time we had a question it was answered in minutes and with genuine interest in making sure we were having the best time. We will book here again!

This place was great for our family of 7! Our kids’ ages range from 10-18. Everyone had their own bed to sleep in. The condo was clean and had plenty of towels, shampoo/conditioner, kitchen supplies, etc. It was only about 6 minutes from Whitefish Mountain Resort and about 13 minutes from the main street in town. Great, quiet location. The indoor pool was nice. Gia and Bill are wonderful hosts and very accommodating. They respond quickly when you have a question or need help with something. They also gave us great info on things to do in the area, shopping, restaurants and grocery. There are 2 things that to know before you go: (1.) They use those plug-in air fresheners and it hits you strong when you get there. The smells gave us a headache and it felt like we were eating it, so we unplugged them and put them in drawers. The second day was much better and the perfume smell wasn’t so strong. (2.) There isn’t air conditioning. They had one plugged in the window by the sofa and that helped a tad, but the upstairs bedroom was very uncomfortable. Each room has a fan that helped some. The basement rooms stay pretty cool, but the main level and upstairs are pretty stuffy. Open up the doors and windows in the evenings to let the cool air in. That helps a ton. We would definitely stay here again!!
