Beautiful relaxing views . Ideal location for eating places .

Small niggle ,no mirrors in bedrooms or hairdryer.

Views, appearance and very clean. Extremely comfortable.

Uncomfortable with the thought that someone may be able to see through the bathroom window. No frosted glass or privacy film. Just a minor thing.

Great location in Stonehaven's town center--near the beach, boardwalk and shops. Great panoramic views of the harbor and surrounding areas. Handy to have a kitchen so that I could prepare quick meals. Also the washing machine was handy for a quick wash of clothes that could be hung dried (no dryer). Street parking was relatively easy. Never had to park more than 1 block from the apartment. Great venue for two couples or family. Even though the apartment was tiny, the bedrooms, kitchen, and dining/living room were all sufficient for up to a 1-week stay.

Seagulls were a major nuisance. They nest, roost, and otherwise congregate throughout the surrounding rooftops. They're extremely noisy at all hours of day and night. They don't seem to sleep. To sleep, I had to make sure all the windows were closed to reduce the noise. Also, their droppings covered much of the windows, so was a distraction from seeing the views. Kitchen does not have a hood or fan when using the range. When frying a steak on the stovetop, I set off the smoke detectors in each of the rooms in the apartment. Also the range has not been serviced recently. The automatic starter mechanism doesn't work. Need to light stove with a match. Was unimpressed with the manager's response when I called to ask about starting the stove. He told me he had never used the stove and so couldn't provide any guidance. When I asked if there were matches or a lighter in the apartment, he didn't know. I told him I had searched but couldn't find any. He never offered to have the stove serviced or even bring me matches or a starting device--poor customer service. I had to pop down to the Co Op store to buy matches.
