Generally speaking our stay was just ok. The location was great and the neighborhood was vert nice. The property though was too small for us. We couldn’t take advantage of the nice patio due to weather so we were quite confined. We also had issues with ongoing construction at the adjoining residence. We like to cook but the kitchen was limited and lacked a stove. All of this wouldn’t have mattered if the weather had been better. All in all we enjoyed are stay but probably would not stay there again.

The property is well equipped and in a good location to visit family! The host is very helpful!

I booked this property for my elderly parents visiting for Thanksgiving. This place was in a nice quiet neighborhood near my house in RB and very clean. It had a nice patio/yard for lounging and perfect for my parents. The check-in process was easy and host very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a property in this area.

I needed a place close to my new job in Poway while in town for training and stumbled on this. So much nicer than a hotel. Clean, private, very much felt at home. Mike was as good of host as you could have asked for.

Property location was great. It was well stocked and very clean. Our only issue was the bed size. It stated it was a king bed under the bedroom details which was important to us. It has since been changed and now shows as a queen bed. A bit too much contact with owner. Would have preferred to just have a phone number so we could reach out if we needed anything. Check in and checkout instructions were clear. Would stay here again.

My husband and I just loved everything about our stay! Aunt Mike was such a sweet hostess. She gave us a tour when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is very quiet and we loved watching the hummingbirds on the patio each morning.

We have stayed in vacation rentals in various locations and this was one of the best! Everything was as described and we had a perfect stay. We were visiting family who lived nearby and appreciated the flexibility for checking in and out. Mike was an awesome host and the grounds were in beautiful full bloom! All of the comforts of home and then some! Hope to return.

Wonderful studio apartment! We’ll stocked kitchenette, super clean. Great bathroom. The courtyard is private and inviting. We didn’t have time to use the hot tub but that’s a great plus!

Wonderful place to stay, the host makes you feel like you have been friends forever. It has a fantastic homey feeling. We would definitely go back to stay.

We visited our son’s family for our grandson’s graduation. Their home was just 2 miles from this property. It was close but gave us a oasis in the midst of excitement. There is everything one could want or need in this rental. Mike, the owner, explained everything about the property and was available for anything we needed. Mike is a very pleasant woman and a gracious host. We spent a great deal of time on the patio enjoying a breeze, the sun and hummingbirds at their feeder. We ate our meals on the patio. We highly recommend this place. It was perfect!

A hidden gem in the heart of Rancho Bernardo, amazingly charming studio well equipped with everything you need while on vacation. A must for anyone looking for relaxation, and a place that feel like home away from home..

Mike was the ultimate Hostess. She provided a wonderful and secure atmosphere in which to relax & enjoy our stay. The accommodations were very clean, the kitchen well stocked & the bed quite comfortable. The private entrance essential & the patio with jacuzzi a nice bonus. There was everything we needed & much more. We highly recommend this studio apartment to anyone visiting the Rancho Bernardo/ San Diego/ Poway, CA area.

There were some ants on the counter at times but other than that it was very nice. Mike is always very helpful.

Can't say enough good things about our delightful stay at Mike's beautiful, cozy "cottage"! We stayed here for a week while visiting family and friends in San Diego and it was a perfect home base nestled in a quiet and beautiful Rancho Bernardo neighborhood. The amenities were superb, Mike was so gracious and welcoming. She has gone to great lengths to put herself in her guest's place to create a tranquil getaway environment where you want for nothing and everything is provided. The room's Parisian-themed decor is lovely and inviting, it's spotlessly clean and looks like it belongs in the pages of a home decorator magazine. We especially enjoyed the little courtyard hideaway with lots of room for guests and a relaxing hot tub in which to end the day.. If you're thinking at all about an affordable getaway spot in San Diego, you need to to check this one out. So much a cut above the rest. We will definitely be staying here again!

The studio has a great bathroom and a lovely courtyard. I rented it because it was located minutes from my brother's house. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I loved the Sprouts shopping center nearby. I also had a massage which costs only $40 per hour (in the shopping center.) The owner had thought of everything a guest could need.

My wife and I stayed at Mike's place in mid-September 2017 and loved it. It was perfect for our needs, and Mike is the perfect hostess. She's as available as you need, but doesn't interfere in any way. The space is just wonderful. Clean, extremely well-stocked, and a fantastic outdoor space for the guests' use, including a new hot tub! Speaking of the outdoor space, my wife totally loved being able to watch the hummingbirds and finches come to the feeders that were right outside of our door every day. Mike even provided some snacks and breakfast items that came in very handy a couple of times when we were in a rush or didn't plan well for the next day. We are VRBO owners, too, and we know what it takes to deliver a home in this condition and with the amenities it has. Mike exceeded our expectations. If we ever have the opportunity to visit the area again, you can count on us staying at Mike's if she'll have us back. Thank you, Mike!
