Location is great for this area of Puerto Rico. Having the Wyndham Resort at the bottom of the hill was a real plus. Pool and beach area for the Condos was really nice and having chairs available on the beach was fantastic. The water is rough on this beach, but this is a good thing if you have kids. Our kids, ranging from 17 to 22 had a blast bodysurfing. The waves break across a sandbar so even small kids are OK near the beach as long as you watch them. Condo is huge and has everything a family will need. Beds were comfortable, and having 4 showers with a large group is a big plus. Air conditioning is absolutely necessary, especially in July, and worked great. We played 2 rounds of golf at the resort. One course (River) was a bit challenging for us, but the Ocean course is manageable for semi-beginners. Both are in really good shape and the clubhouse/restaurant is beautiful with great food day and night. While there we did Jet Skis at Playa de Luquillo , Carabali rainforest ATV Tour, and an excursion out to Culebra Island for snorkeling. All were a lot of fun, especially the Culebra Island.

These are minor suggestions, so please take them as such. The condo is great, but could use an update. Family room furniture is clean and in good shape, but isn't the most comfortable. While the owners were super easy to communicate with and very helpful, a simple info sheet for guest, with instructions and recommendations concerning the area would have been appreciated. It's worth noting that neighboring Luquillo beach is really nice, but the area is still a little run down, I'm assuming from the Hurricane. We knew this going in so not a complaint, just be aware, a car is absolutely necessary. You cannot walk to beach. Well you can, but it's a haul. We were going to rent a golf cart, but we had a Jeep rental, so the $100+ a day for the golf cart didn't seem to be worth it. This made is a little challenging when kids wanted to go one place and adults another, but not a big deal.
