We loved our quick trip to orchard hill. The lodge is peaceful and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the happy hour as well as breakfast near the fire. Our cabin was cozy and overall a good experience. Bed was comfortable and we loved relaxing by the fire. The only things lacking were the bathtub with no shower. The tub looked very old/worn and patched up, with a soft spot. So I attempted a shower with the hand held but you couldn’t move it from the attachment…. So it was awkward and not the best. Second thing is the tv in room could have been better. No major issues, just those minor inconveniences. I know they are modernizing from the previous owners so maybe more cabin updates are coming. We loved the stay as a quick mountain escape and I hope we’ll be back!

We had a quick getaway for our wedding anniversary and a stay at Orchard Hill was perfect. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. When we checked in, we had some coffee and cookies/brownies in the lobby/lounge. We stayed at Gladstone and it was so cute. Nice fireplace, tub with keys, very clean. It was a very peaceful stay. My husband didn’t like the bed but i didn’t mind it. Happy hour and breakfast was included and everything was yummy. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy nature and a small game room to hang out in. 1st generation charging for Tesla available and free, just needed to charge overnight. Getting into town is a quick walk downhill for 5 mins. Will totally come back!

It was an amazing experience!! Really cozy cute hotel, convenient location (main street was in walking distance), and the staff was super friendly and attentive!!!! Can't wait to be back.

Beautiful location!!! The only small detail i didnt like is, the cottages that are close to each other, you can hear literally everything .....

The Orchard Hill property is such a lovely and convenient property in a fantastic location in Julian, they treat their guests with such lovely treats such as a wonderful daily breakfast, afternoon cookies and a cocktail hour with a wine/cheese selection all enjoyed by a roaring wood fire. The staff at this resort are 1st class esp Matthew who offered dining recommendations and kept our fireplace cozy while offering entertaining stories about the area. But really everyone here was so amazing. The beds are super-soft which was the only down side for me as I prefer more firmness but everything else was perfect and we cannot wait to return to this lovely property. Thank you!

Absolutely would 10/10 recommend!! It was such a clean, cozy, and cute place to stay at. Very calm atmosphere and staff were just amazing! Will be coming back here for sure!

Staff is amazing...room in main lodge was comfortable. Happy hour serves beer and wine in front of huge fireplace...breakfast was tasty and lots of goodies along with Mimosa's...after that only made it about 50 yards down the hill landing in the hammock and not moving for a while....by the way, must try the chocolate chip cookies fresh baked on site at check in....town below is very boring regardless of what you read on the internet but the lodge makes it all worth while

Orchard Hill Inn took amazing care of us and all of our wedding guests from the moment we booked our rooms. They sent us text messages before our stay to let us know when and where to check in. They had live music and complimentary happy hour in the lobby every evening. The included continental breakfast was a great variety and the food was incredible. The hotel was so cozy and comfortable that we really weren’t ready to leave after just one night!

The location is just a short block to Main St and all that Julian has to offer! Yummy breakfast options too.

This was a great stay being walking distance from the main Julian street. Staff were very kind and check in/out was a breeze. Would happily stay again.

Charming and super quaint. Everything seems so new and fresh. The free breakfast is practically gourmet with the very best omelettes and crousaints my wife and I have ever had. The staff is as warm and friendly as you can get. And to be 1 block from downtown Julian....adds so much to the experience.

Staff and facility are excellent. Other guests seemed snooty and not-so-friendly - that’s not on Orchard Hill though!

Orchard Hill is charming, quaint, and private. The staff was highly attentive and polite. I recommend a stay at Orchard Hill for a relaxing restful getaway.

We chose a dog friendly hotel, but it is people friendly too. An unexpected gift of beautiful mugs on check-in, happy hour, delicious cooked breakfast- all included. Beautiful grounds with a little brook and wild turkeys, and yet just a couple of blocks from the main street. Did I mention friendly staff? Really enjoyable stay

We loved it here! The gentleman that was running the front desk and bar when we arrived was very friendly, informative and was able to multitask the bar and front desk. The grounds of the property are so quiet and peaceful! We will be coming back here for sure. :)

Beautiful accommodation in the mountains.

The property is absolutely beautiful and has amazing views of Julian. The people who work there are so sweet and accommodating as well it feels like your staying at a little home. It’s also super conveniently located so you can walk everywhere.

It’s an amazing tranquil place better than any meditation app! Love the gardens the property has created too ! Saw humming birds deer and lots of local wild life once you settle in! Food is excellent !

The inn is beautiful. The rooms are very pretty, comfortable and well air conditioned. The staff is very nice and accommodating. I felt very welcomed The grounds are beautiful. Breakfast is good. There were mimosas and juices and coffee and bagels and a real cooked breakfast. Happy hour is nice with a couple of beers or glasses of wine and a nice charcuterie spread. I highly recommend staying here.
