Adobe Hacienda is in an excellent location in Oak Creek close to Sedona . There is great hiking and biking close by and we were able to avoid heavy traffic . There were restaurants very close to where we were . Our room was comfortable and quiet . There was an outdoor area to sit and a huge kitchen and eating area available if we wanted to use it . I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again . We were there a week and I hated to leave !

Nothing to dislike

Private, clean and good location.

No staff around. Including in the lobby the entire 4 days we were there. Off site management has very poor communication. We arrived to an unlocked lobby with no one there to tell us where our room was. We had to call the management and the answering service was able to call management to find out which room we were in. The lady from the answering service then had to explain to us where we needed to go in the kitchen of the lobby to get a key to our room out of a lock box! We had been given a code for “our room” and a code for the lobby from the management. We assumed we’d arrive, go to the lobby and a person would give us a room # and we would go to the room and enter the code they gave us. Well that was completely wrong and also both codes they gave us were wrong! When we eventually got the correct code from the management company we were able to get a key from a lockbox no one told us about and look in the dark for the casita which took about 15 mins to find. The next night we saw another couple walking around looking lost. They were trying to check in and had no idea what room was their’s because like us they were never told. Only given the address of the property and they too expected to find someone in the lobby when they arrived! They only had to sit and wait in their car for an hour to get a call back and finally get into their room.

The room was clean.

It wasn't a "villa" it was basically a small strip motel with no concierge. Our room adjoined a wall with the shared space kitchen and we could hear people through it. The $160 cleaning fee for one night was outrageous. I travel a lot for work and this place was not worth $500 a night. It was worth half that. I feel ripped off.
