My small family and parents enjoyed the clean, modern amenities that came with this rental – everything is new and lovely. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck that overlooks the fire pit and woods. The only downsides to this lovely little A-frame, was one of the bedrooms upstairs does not have a window or vents so it gets really hot and stuffy. Bring a box fan with you. It might be nice to see a screen door go in the door to the balcony in that room to get some air flow. A clothes line would be another great addition so there is somewhere to hang your bath towels, bathing suits, etc. There is not access to a dryer. The neighborhood is a bit strange as well – a little rough around the edges and a really bumpy dirt road to get to the rental. Not a huge deal, just be prepared that it's not a typical rental area and the neighbors didn't seem thrilled with our presence, even though we are a quiet family. Other than those complaints, it definitely has its upsides: close to Hamlin Lake, quaint and clean and new.

We had 6 (mostly) adults that stayed here. The house isn't big, but it's laid out well, very cutely decorated and incredibly clean! It's a little hard to find at first (a few dirt roads), but it's very quiet once you're there. I loved the plants everywhere, felt really welcoming. It does get a little warm upstairs, but a small fan helps a lot! It's about 15 minutes from the state park where you can swim in Lake Michigan or the smaller and warmer, Hamlin Lake. The city of Ludington is about 15ish minutes away as well. The bedroom downstairs is a twin bed with a trundle bed. The steps leading upstairs are a little steep, so be careful if you have bad knees. But it was no trouble for my teenage kids! There aren't a lot of places to store your clothes or other things. There's only 1 closet (upstairs), but it's a good size and hangers are provided. The main bathroom is downstairs. This is where the tub/ shower is. There is a half bath upstairs, but it is an ensuite. Great if you're in gnat room, but just be comfortable letting anyone and everyone in your room to use the bathroom. I really can't say enough how cute the place was! And SO CLEAN! I've stayed in a few rentals over the years this was by far the cleanest one. And the "nook" in the upstairs bedroom that i used as a vanity has me totally trying to reconfigure my bedroom at home to fit such a thing. All in all, i highly recommend it! Glad we stayed there :)
