Such a great, friendly place! From the start, when the front desk staff checked status of my room and let me check in early to the excellent balcony and friendly other guests. Plus, the hotel is so close to Maho Beach and all the restaurants and activities near Maho. Not to mention being right across the street from the airport. A plane spotters dream location. But nice insulated windows and doors means you don’t hear any noise when inside. A great three star hotel! I will be back!

Just an ok place. A typical timeshare place. Convenient to and from the airport. I do love my large balcony with a view of the runway. All the kitchen appliances worked well. Parking is not free and you can pay when you check in. Very convenient to a several restaurants, a casino, bars and a small market.

Our stay at La Terrasse was nothing short of amazing. We had the perfect view of the Princess Juliana Airport runway where we got to watch the planes land and takeoff. We also got had a nice view of the ocean at the Maho Beach. We loved the fact that there is a supermarket downstairs to buy groceries. It was really a plus because we were able to cook our own food. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be staying at La Terrasse again!

Good place to watch airplanes takeoff and land, it is a timeshare so the service is different. For the price it was good. Walking distance to Maho Bay which is why I chose it. Over all a decent place.

Property furniture is outdated, but overall stay was okay.

Staff was super friendly and helpful with things to do and suggesting places to eat. The view was amazing and watching the planes take off and land from the balcony was a site to see!

Clean and comfortable, staff was outstanding. Rooms could use a refresh but overall a good value in a great location if you want to watch planes or do Maho beach.

Upon arrival room smell to moist very bad. But we were offered a room move. Hotel is outdated but still in functional conditions

Nice place, good overall facilities....access to the grounds at the sister hotel across the street was nice, Not a fancy site (this place has been here for awhile) The view of the airport with the incoming and outgoing flight is great. The tv is too small however. Golf nearby good, tennis courts were awful.

Great view of sea, airport runway, pool. Room was clean, tidy, well equiped.
Bed very comfortable. Lots of events happened in Maho beach but no noise from this. Just easy access. Staff on front desk was helpful.
Air conditioning, TV, bathroom worked well, we didn't cook anything as we ate out at lots of restaurants. We used this hotel so my husband could get a great view of the planes at the airport. Inside the room it was very quiet. On the balcony much lounder but larger noisy planes only took off and landed late in the afternoon. So the rest of the day you could relax on the verandah as smaller lighter planes were not noisy. Water in the beach was lovely.
We would use this again. I loved swimming in the sea, my husband sat at the bar listening to the pilot and airport and seeing them land.

This hotel is very well situated for the night-activities and the beaches but the noise of the AC was annoying to sleep at night.

Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The staff was fantastic and very friendly. Had a fantastic view of the pool, beach and airport and the noise from the airport wasn't bad at all. Great location, easy to walk around.

Hotel is close to the airport and easy to find. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet for our one night stay; however, the room would have been too cramped if staying there for a week.

The hotel is close to the airport and located in an area that is in walking distance of restaurants, the supermarket, stores and the casino. Easy access to the beach across the street and bus services. A 10 minute ride to Simpson Bay offers a number of different restaurant choices. Rent a car to go to some of the other wonder places in the area ie. Marigot, Grand Case and Phillipsburg.

We only stayed at La Terrace for one night, but it is in a great location and is very comfortable and clean. Pool on the 2nd level is lovely. This hotel is across the street from the beach, just a very short walk. Many wonderful restaurants in this area, plus a casino next door. Great for those choosing not to rent a car. We stayed in a one BR suite, which was quite lovely and very spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

After having spent a wonderful week in st.maarten, we can't wait to get back there.
Lots of good restaurants in the Maho area, some of which are quite pricey i may add, but the food was wonderful. Our favourite ended up being down at "Sunset bar and grill". I highly recommend the "Chicken Satay" and you've got to try Guavaberry Coladas, they are the best ever!!
Shopping wasn't too bad, i thought everything was reasonably priced. we have already looked at going back again in october, St Maarten truly is the best of the caribbean islands i have ever visited.

From the exterior, the hotel looks like an apartment building, but upon going inside, the room is beautiful with full kitchen. The pool was extremely well kept as were the gardens and grounds. The staff was helpful and friendly and the area was very convenient. The only disappointment is that you can look over the wall onto the airport grounds, so you see and hear every plane taking off and landing (fun to watch if you like that). Regardless of that , I would definitely go back.

The personel at the front desk was very rude to us our entire stay and we didnt even ask for or say anything to her even after our hassel of getting checked in after an hour and a half. The hallway does not have A/C so you do get sweaty by the time you get to your room. We did love our room especially because of the ocean view. The area around the hotel has alot of acess to many things. Overall it was an okay stay for the money. We would probably have another opinion if our check-in process was smoother.

I would have to say that overall we had an enjoyable experience at the hotel. We got a great deal and could not pass it up! There is a great kitchenette in the room which allowed us to make our own breakfast (mini grocery store located right around the corner). It is also in a great location within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The only downfall is that it is literally right next door to the runway and planes do fly in during the night and early morning. However, I did enjoy seeing the planes landing from time to time for some strange reason!
I would suggest definitely getting a rental car because it is very cheap and a must to get around to all of the great places in St. Martin. It seems as though every great location is only a quick drive because of how small the island is.

The hotel was located a short cab ride from the airport and was next to Casino Royale. The hotel room was clean and had a great view of the bay and the airport runway. As you might expect, next to the airport, the room was not very noisy. We slept very well.

This was our 2nd time staying at La Terrasse and it was as enjoyable for this visit as it was in 2006.
We had a 2 bedroom suite for 2 of us so we each had our own bathroom.
The rooms were clean, bright, and comfortable with a nice kitchen set up if needed. We chose to eat all meals out so did not use the kitchen.
This is a RCI Gold Crown property so should be a great place.
Our 2 complaints/issues is there was no WIFI in the rooms-could access near the front desk but at a cost to the guests. As a Gold crown property, I think it should have internet access in the cost of the room.
The other concern was the cable/satellite TV. Limited number of TV channels and movie channels.
The property is very tropical and WELL maintained. They do have a nice area for shops, but over 50% of them were vacant. Probably indicative of the economy.
The Front Desk personnel were not the friendliest - Not all of them- some were great and some seemed like they would rather be elsewhere.
The location is next to the main airport which you woould think might be annoying, but we love watching planes landing and taking off. The noise can be deafening at times with large jets, but after a day, you don't even hear it. Very quick access to either side of the island makes it a good location. If it wasn't, we woould have stayed elsewhere.
Bottom line- Good restaurants, good location, and good clean comfortable room.
We would go back again!

Excellent location for plane watching. Surrounding areas complete with restaurants and food shopping facilities and duty free shops. Enjoy completely each visit.
