The location of this hotel is amazing and the breakfast is lovely. What made this hotel exceptionally special for me was the amazing helpful staff. The communication with the hotel was flawless before I even arrived in Vietnam, with them reaching out to me about possible tours, helping with a SIM card and arranging a taxi for me from the airport. As I arrived, I started talking with Anna about my travel plans. Within no time Anna had whipped up a whole itinerary for me based on my interests, and I did not even have to ask her to do this. Her advice felt honest and genuine, as opposed to some of the places I have stayed where they just tried to get me to book stuff with them. The service of the staff in Hanoi Chic Boutique Hotel is truly something else. The kind of service you sometimes forget exists. I highly recommend staying here.

The water pressure could be better and the rooms might be a little outdated, but I would not let that stop you from visiting, as the good definitely outways the “bad”.

This was the first hotel we stayed in on our trip to Vietnam. It was totally a totally solid option and the staff was very helpful (for example, the water stopped working in half the building on or last day, and they very quickly offered us an open room to use to shower in right away, so we barely felt inconvenienced). The best thing about our stay here was the complimentary breakfast. If I could, I would start every day with the beef phở made to order and the fresh dragon and passion fruits from this place. A+ breakfast chef!

While the staff is very friendly, they did try to sell us a lot of additional things (which is totally part of many hotel experiences, so that's fine) but for example, we were offered airport rides that were far more expensive than booking a grab car, and told they would be cheaper, so I just recommend price checking grab before committing to those things!

The location was superb! it is so close within walking distance to many restaurants as well as tourist attractions. I loved the breakfast that was included and the room was perfect for me. The staff are what really makes this property stand out. Anna was an angel human and the rest of the staff were superb as well. They not only gave me recommendations, but provided a map with detailed instructions on times and places to go. They arranged for transportation to and from airport, motorbikes for adventures, and Anna helped me for 3 days to make sure I got the sim card to work in a phone for gps services. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH!

The only thing I would suggest upgrading would be the bed. other than that, there is nothing I would change.

Location, the size of the room and bathroom. The lady at the reception desk was very, very kind and helpful.

Very nice and clean in a great location. Tasty breakfast with buffet and cook to order items. The staff are stars, they are all wonderful kind helpful people.

location is perfect for visiting the center area by walk helpful staff ( Had an issue with the safety box and they fixed it shortly )

some rooms are noisy but I think is quite often in Hanoi due to traffic and motorbikes horns

The room we chose was large for the 2 of us, and had everything needed. We stayed in a few hotels in Hanoi and this one was the nicest (though also the most expensive one we picked). Staff are really friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

The hotel is old and needs a bit of snagging/updates to small things but it didn't affect the stay. Breakfast was nice although my friend ordered pancakes and you just receive 1 singular pancake so would be good to know or have the option to get more than 1. TV was quite old and didn't have good reception. As with everywhere we stayed, single glazing windows facing the busy street meant you can hear the hustle and bustle outside but that is to be expected. It also says on the listing that there is a spa and wellness facilities but when I asked the front desk they told me they don't have a spa.

Breakfast is good, though no various food.

Staff were super helpful and welcoming - helped us to book tours at a good price. Breakfast was great quality and you could have items cooked to order. Great location in the old quarter - recommend the bar across the street for a cheap big beer. Great Wi-Fi too

our friend who stayed in another room at the front of the property had real trouble sleeping with traffic noise and then internal construction sounds in the early hours - the hotel moved his room with no problems but I’d recommend asking for a room at the back of the hotel

I like the location since it is within old quarter and new the convenience store. Also the room is big and has a bath tab. It is Value for money since it includes breakfast.
