We had a lovely stay in Ballater. The flat was perfect for our family of four. The flat is nicely decorated and very comfortable and cozy. It is also convenient to restaurants and shops.

We had a fantastic stay in this cottage. It's in a great location with Ballater and the River Dee on your doorstep and very close to many other local attractions, e.g. Balmoral (5-10 min drive), Loch Miuck (great walking!) and is well situated to get out for the day over to Aberdeen, Inverness or Aviemore. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub (even though we had close to zero temps!) and enjoyed the prep involved, which was a great opportunity to enjoy a few beers whilst stoking the fire. Would recommend!

Cosy cottage, quiet and so close to the village centre. Easy yo park and load and unload. Even got a bit of time in the sun

We absolutely LOVED Riverside cottage ! It was beautifully appointed, the location was fabulous ! Our host was very available. This was a perfect place to have a home base, could not recommend more !

Nice clean property with plenty to do nearby and very well equipped. Lots of access to great walks and food. Only minor issue was the sofa's - both definitely need replacing soon and way to low.

We are a family of 5 (3 boys, one who is 8 and 2 year old twins) and we stayed at Riverside cottage for my eldest son's birthday because he was obsessed by the log fired hot tub! Communication with the owners was fast and really helpful and we got to the cottage easily with the directions we were given. We also found the keys quickly and were in very fast, which is appreciated with small children. The cottage itself is very cute and has been very lovingly decorated. The boys loved the open plan layout downstairs for exploring and playing and spent most of their time in the garden or the kitchen/diner. It was fantastic to have use of a washing machine (and very rare!) and a dishwasher so we could keep on top of jobs and make the most of our time together. The beds are comfy and clean and the bathrooms were spotless too. I really appreciated the massive free standing tub in the main bathroom, I love a bath and this one was magnificent! The hot tub was great fun. We enjoyed chopping the logs and learning how to build a fire and then not so much the waiting for it to warm up, but an ice cream from the shop up the road and a wander soon distracted them. Someone has to stay home and watch/feed the fire, but mummy and daddy took turns! All 3 boys loved the "big hot bath" and we spent a couple of hours each day in it. It was quick to fill and empty and is a lovely addition to a gorgeous cottage. We also loved Ballater and it's friendly locals and the stunning mountain and river scenery. If you're on the fence about this cottage then please go for it! We had a fabulous time, and so will you!

A lovely cottage with comfy beds, beautifully decorated and a great back garden. Kitchen was appointed with everything you'd need. A short walk from the river and all the amenities of the town. Perfectly placed!

This little beautiful cottage was an amazing break away. We were more than impressed - If we could have stayed longer we would!

The home was lovely and cosy. Amazing set up both inside and outside. Loved the lights that lit up the garden whilst sitting in the hot tub. Very cosy sittingroom and lovely spacious kitchen and dinner to enjoy cooking, wine and playing board games. Lovely big lounging bath to relax with a book at night. Great location, great host and would definitely recommend to others
