The fact that host came up and spent sometime taking us through local maps/ things to do 🙏 and house rules.
- The bed in one of the room made squeaking noise with the slightest of movement, was hard to go to sleep.
- No tissues or napkins for the price, I understand $220-250 in off peak season is a budget accommodation but providing tissue box isn’t a big thing ( which many other places do)
- Upon checking in, reminder of heavy cleaning charges 2-3 times can make situation a little uncomfortable.

Spacious, clean with everything we needed for our night's stay. Close to shops, cafes and walk to the beach.
The tree at the front door dropped leaves all over our car. There is a 'no fish' policy in effect for inside this property. I understand about bait and other fish (prawns), but smoked salmon??? The air conditioner was noisy. Sadly, the lead photo for this listing is misleading and shows the buildings at the end of the footbridge leading over to main beach. As we had never been to Lakes Entrance before, we thought the building in the photo was the Beachcomber Holiday Units...silly us.

The owner Marty greeted us at the door of the unit and kindly explained the functions of the unit. He also told us the good restaurants and visiting spots around that area.
The unit itself is spacious, clean and tidy. The unit also owns a beautiful front yard. It is close to everything such as restaurants, shops and supermarket. The beach is just a minute walk distant.
The stay is too short.

The deck at the front needs the nails hit back down or replaced with screws.

This is our 6th year at lakes entrance , and beachcomber was the best holiday yet for us and our family , from staff, to location to feeling extremely comfortable

Beautiful spacious unit, location perfect to walk to beach and shops. Host provided membership access to Aquadome facilities a short drive away as nil pool onsite although inlet and beach just across the road. Inlet has inflatable waterslide/playground.

Upon checking in, the staff provided some recommendations on activities to do in the area, which was very thoughtful! The included access to the Aquadome was a nice addition, so I could use the gym and heated pool even on days when the weather was cold. The accommodation was quaint and nicely furnished. We also needed to print some paperwork urgently, and the management was able to print this for us without an issue! Definitely would stay again in the future!

The units were extremely clean and everything neat and tidy. Rebecca, Marty and Matilda were very friendly and helpful! Very personal and you can tell that they take pride in looking after the property.
Fantastic location right across the road to the beach, close to the shops. There were native birds- kookaburra’s that we were able to hand feed and rosella’s that would come during the day.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beachcomber Holiday Units. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the walk across the footbridge nearby one day to the beach and another day walking to see seals riding the waves at the lakes entrance a good two and half hour walk There were lots of birds and interesting plants to see
We also drove to Paynesville and caught the car ferry for $13 return to Raymond Island to see the koalas and many wallabies under trees at the end of the island. The koala walk is well signed just as you come of the ferry.

The Beachcomber units had everything you would need for a beach vacation! Great proximity to the beach, shops and cafes! Rebecca was there to greet me and gave me a great round down of Lakes Entrance and its go to spots! Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend!

Location and it was comfortable. A great highlight was the stunning lights on the tree coming to life in the evening creating a very special environment.

Brilliant position, probably the best spot possible. Shops, beach and bars at the doorstep. Hosts couldn’t be more helpful.

Met by a very welcoming host whom took us directly to our room, explained the facilities well and suggested places to visit locally. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Great value for money and highly recommend.
