La casa colonial en la que está ubicado el hostel es muy bonito. Y la cercanía al centro de la capital.

No llegaba el WiFi a la habitación. En el baño faltaba toalla de mano y otra de pies al salir de la ducha. El agua de la ducha o estaba muy caliente o muy fría. Pero lo peor es la poca insonorización de las habitaciones, ya que escuchamos todo lo que ocurría en el pasillo, en la calle y en las habitaciones cercanas. Sólo había un enchufe para cargar los móviles y está en el baño.

I got robbed Stay in 6 mix dorm hostel on 9feb. At first im alone. Evening theres 2 guys checkin. I lock my bag in a cabinet with my padlock. In the morning i only left for 30mins breakfast. The padlock is still okay but inside of my wallet they took 1 debit card. 100 usd and 290.000 crc. I block the debit card. Theres a trial to use my credit card that is not stolen but its still in the wallet on 14th feb. They try to make it look like not a robbery so you wouldnt realize. The hostel still charge me on the 3 nights i stayed and they dont come with me to the police station. And they only have the data of one guy that checkin. Maybe they are teams ? I dont know.

People are nice and the room is nice.

People on the balcony were loud and obnoxious all night. They did not care that it was 2 in the morning.

I loved the location, it is just in the downtown of San Jose, plus everything is around the corner, food, tourist places, parks, museums. All that just in a 5-minute walk.

Very friendly staff, big room, we were upgraded to a room with a private bathroom as one was available. Good hot shower, really nice breakfast of scrambled eggs, fruit and coffee.

Can be loud at night with music playing in the lobby
