I loved the bedding and towels!

I had great difficulty understanding the check in clerk but the lady helping her was fine!

Lounge (only place to get food Friday Night) asked if I want ice in my beer, ask lady at next table if want ice in Red Wine. Didn't know how to serve Scotch. Meals delivered to some of table & other people at same table waited 30+minutes for there food.

breakfast is tricky!!! It should be emphasized no breakfast. When booking it was said BREAKFAST IS AVAILABLE, but checking in it was not part of the payment. CHANGING YOUR MARKETING STRATEGY DOESN'T HELP YOUR HOTEL!!

Room was clean, bed was perfect, and met my cleaniliness standards ( as I used to be a housekeeper)

I went to Calgary for a funeral and stayed only one night. My boss is the one who booked the room for me, it was to include breakfast ( as he room was 172.00). Suffice to say I did not receive a free breakfast, I paid for my breakfast (twice). I also paid for my Sons breakfast. We go and all they had was continental breakfast, thought fine its ok we can work with this. Only tofind the food was cool, not arm and the breakfast sausages were still not cooked properly. I understand that this facility may have just opened, but the only reason why I chose this hotel was because the Double Tree in Edmonton was beyond the expectations of myself.
