Proximity to the location I was visiting

The door kick plate was broken amd the room wasn't the cleanest there was broken finger nails at the entrance people sleeping on the chairs in the lobby rat traps visible etc.

Put me on the 5th floor. No elevators. Staff all pretty rude. Vagrant type people wandering around property

The outlet worked for me to charge my phone.

After reading reviews I figured 'its cheap and I'm only there to sleep for 5 hours, it can't be as bad as people say'. Well it is. The entire building smells like someone died. Half the lights in my room didn't work. The bed and pillows were stained, I slept on the floor because it was more comfortable than the bed. I did not feel safe in the stairwell or my room, you can hear EVERYTHING in the entire building. I didn't think you.could overpay for a $50 hotel room but seriously, I've stayed in nicer second world country hostels. Sleep in your car if you wanna save money, it'd be better than this place.

The location and view was good. Supervisor was good.

The customer service was really bad. Got a used underwear from the room, even after complaining they didn’t take any action.

The only thing good about this property was the guy at the front desk was very good to deal with.

Open walking into the hotel, it was okay. The front desk attendant was a nice guy. Greeted us with a smile. We checked in, we were given our cards to our room. We went up to the third floor to our room. As soon as the elevator opened the whole floor just stunk of weed. We got to our room and they keys wouldn’t work. So we had to go back down to the bobby. We mentioned that the smell of weed was overpowering for a non smoking floor. He apologized and gave us an “upgrade”. So we went to the second floor to our new room. The second we walked in, the room was freezing cold. Being the middle of January, we were shocked to see the windows were left open. So it took some time for the room to warm up. The room was very poorly lit. After driving all day to Calgary I wanted a shower. There was almost no water pressure. After looking around the room, it was quite apparent the rooms do not get cleaned properly if at all. I’m not joking there was cum stains on everything in the room. (Pictures will be attached). I usually sleep in just my underwear, however I slept fully clothed on top of the blankets. I would have normally just immediately checked out and went somewhere else, but it was about midnight checking in and didn’t want the hassle of finding another hotel at midnight. In the morning, we checked out, went to the lobby and the same person was working. I told him about the situation and he apologized saying sometimes they leave the window open “for the smell”. Very nice room and lots of room the only thing was there where no glass or Wash clothes

Didn't found toilet papers in bathroom. Rest was good.
