Not your average Hampton Inn. We often stay at Hamptons. They are a good quality hotel but this one is special. It looks like it belongs in Savannah. Great architecture and beautifully common spaces. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It was very quiet despite being a short walk to everything .

The property was beautiful. The rooms were large, everything was clean and the beds were amazing. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.
We booked this property partially due to laundry facilities. One machine was broken and people left their laundry in the machines for hours on end and there was no signage or anything for rules regarding that.

The location
Overflowing trash in the room since they only clean every other day (sort of!) Leaky bathroom faucet; non working TV; not enough comfortable chairs; for the money, the amenities limited.

Beautiful lobby, heated outdoor pool, and very centrally located. Nice rooms. Everything was walking distance. Free breakfast was high quality. Parking is $30 per day in their garage, but includes in/out privileges. Public garages charge less but it's done by the day so you have to pay each time you come in.
Check in process. Not friendly, and no designated parking spots for registration (and parking is very limited on the street). Eventually I had to use a disabled space to unload our luggage and check in. There is a garage for guests ($30) but you need your key card to get into the garage. Therefore, you need to be checked in before you park....and where do you store your car while you're checking in?

Location was good. Main rooms were pleasant.
Breakfast was not up to the standards of the Hampton Inns. On the second day the breakfast buffet was half empty--no product.
I did not like being charged for parking. It did not say parking was extra on the site.

The staff was very friendly, and the room was nice.
The only complaint I have is that there wasn't much to filter out the sounds from the busy road outside.

The property was clean, easy to navigate, handicap accessible.

Very clean and appeared that the staff was well organized. The breakfast was certainly adequate. The male attendant at the breakfast was most accommodating. A very hard worker who probably did not get any recognition from management. The concierge was vey helpful and knowledgeable. Could have had our trash emptied on the second day of our stay. Overall was a great experience. Did not like the parking situation.

Good location, hotel attractive, dining area very pleasant.

Located within steps of the Savannah College of Art and Design, the hotel is roughly midpoint bw the river and the historic Forsyth Park, which is very picturesque Savannah, with loads of mossy oak and greenery.
Parking is rough. There are maybe 2 dozen spots surrounding the building, with spillover parking off site directed by two signs that do NOT get patrons to their destination. And spillover parking is only access AFTER check in.
Morning breakfast was a mini buffet of cheese omelette, bacon, potatoes, prepared oatmeal, DIY pancake station, a small selection of bread/baked goods and cereals. As I made my selection at the hot food tray, I encountered a very rude employee who made her appearance from behind me by barking “I need that fork!”
Check in checkout and employees encountered throughout were all courteous/helpful. She made herself the bad apple.

Breakfast was good and the location was excellent.
Bathroom sink was clogged; shower was not clean; room smelled like wet dog.

Perfect location in the historic district. Able to walk around. Close by shuttle service for concert venue.
By the time we got to breakfast, there was minimal food left.

Location allowed walking to good restaurants, the Marketplace and welcome center and hop on trolley. Liked the afternoon cookies and free water.
The elevators were having problems.

Overall, breakfast was good. Enjoyed having coffee 24/7 and the afternoon cookies.
I was told our room had a couch, it did not. Was told we’d be moved-we were not. Our room was on the first floor and smelled moldy and had water stains above the window.
Not enough parking and parking was overly expensive considering you had to park a few blocks away. We didn’t enjoy having to walk back and forth in the dark and the pouring rain.

I liked the location once we figured out our way around. It was a 10 minute walk to the restaurants at City Center!
The place needs a makeover. This is a rundown budget property! The concierge was also the buser at breakfast and gave us bad directions on the street map! They did not have room service unless you requested it the night before. The bathroom sink was backed up.

Beautiful interior and cleaning staff was pleasant
Had to walk a distance and pay $30 at night to park car. They need to provide valet or have a shuttle to parking garage. Very inconvenient
1.0
The pool was closed while we was there. The elevators would move before the door closed and It had a musky mold smell and paying $30 for parking a 4th mile away in a ghetto looking parking garage owned by the hotel is ridiculous. No garbage bags in the room for trash is nasty and had to go to front desk for toilet paper towel or anything housekeeping should be doing. So I had to pretty much do like I was at home and get all the things myself instead of the hotel making sure everything was there
