Hot tub, pool, basketball court, fire pit.The children enjoyed

I asked for accommodations for 5 people, for a cabin, I got a cabin that would comfortably fit 3, and a queen suite several doors down. I had myself, my older sister, two teenagers (18 and 14) one male, one female, an 11 year old male. My grandchildren, I would not leave them overnight or alone in a cabin several doors away; therefore I had to put the three in one bedroom with my single air mattress I had to sleep on the pull out. I gave the queen suite to my sister. I had no idea the suite would be that far removed! As they refused to refund my money I paid in advance, I had no choice but to stay. The shower in the cabin had a door off the hinges, was repaired, however the shower head faces the doors which is inconvenient when children need help to turn it on, water sprays out the open door. We had to do a lot of running back and forth to accommodate five people for meals as each place had limited number of dishes, cutlery, pots etc. which would be wonderful if we were only 4!

We ran out of hot water when trying to fill the Jet Tub in our room. Barely got a couple inches of water before the hot stopped coming.

The couch pullout mattress was not made upon arrival. Finding all the bedding was a hunt. Then the pillowcases were not there.

Cottage was great, fully stocked with all the necessary items right down to tin foil and salt n pepper!

The staff member that checked us in was incredibly rude! We requested an early check in which he refused to accommodate, with 4 kids and a dog and 35 degree weather. He refused to even check with cleaning staff to see if the cottage was clean and available. We were not given extra blankets or pillows for the pull out sofa either unfortunately 😕

The staircase hand rail needed some repairing. Exposed nails were there.

Very very good stay! We really like the atmosphere in this area, warm, friendly, just like in a big family. When we arrived, women were chatting on the grass, men were paying baseball on the field. We like the place immediately. The location is good, too. Just a couple of minutes to drive to the beach, and the green gable.
