The hotel staff was excellent!

Very clean.

Hotel was located in business district near French quarter and attractions. Big room with nice river view.

Service for dinner was really slow at the bar, the only open at the time so we left and went to a restaurant for dinner. Breakfast offerings also medium level for the price you pay.

Room was clean but outdated.

My husband expensive colonge was stolen out of his truck during Vallet parking. The manager did nothing to compensate him. Instead a parking ticket was issued for us when it shouldn't have. We got extended check out time and it must Have not been communicated between the desk and the vallet parking which screwed us. The whole vallet parking department failed us. I will take my service somebody else the next time I come to New Orleans. I'll also share my experiences with my professional medical staff,family and friends. That was horrible business.

The suite and view of the fireworks and river were wonderful.

The food/coffee room on the 42nd floor tended to be very crowded.

Excellent location. Highly recommend this property as it is in a convenient location. Everything is in a walking distance.

All good except there was no mini refrigerator in the room and the body wash was not sufficient for the days of our stay.

We loved the decor, location, indoor Starbucks, and the view in the room.

•We first arrived and valet was way too pushy and rushing us. •We asked for someone to please help us with luggage. Valet asked for someone to come out with a cart. The white guy came out bypassed us and went to the white women in the car behind us. I informed him that valet called him out for us. He snapped to wait our turn. He was working in "order". I corrected him that we were ahead of the ladies and called out for us. The valet person was surprised he did this as well. He then tried to lecture us by repeating...patience. •We then went inside and the asian person at the desk told us that they were overbooked and tried to give us a handicap room by the elevator. I explained that we prepaid on Booking.com and the rate wasn't based on this. She claimed to "refresh" her system and the room style that I booked...was available. It all felt very racist. I use that word with caution and not that often...but yea, we felt slighted.

The area

Booking site says parking is $42 but when you get there it’s actually $58. Housekeeper came in cleaned the room but things were missing afterwards. A show box, clothes and a pair of prescription glasses. Hotel won’t do absolutely nothing about it. Took her word that she didn’t throw anything away. So now I’m left glasses-less, which are expensive.

Great location

Very dated and room was very worn down.

Everything was very nice and comfortable - the staff were exceptional from the valets to the bellmen to the front desk lobby staff.

Our phone in our room didn't work, and we had to physically go down to the lobby anytime we needed the bellman, etc. We did tell one of the employees about it on Sarturday but it was not fixed when we left on Sunday morning. The bar tender on Friday night should have had more help- she was frazzled and we had a little wait to get a drink.

The room size was perfect. We loved the view.

Add a microwave to the room.

Nothing to dislike

The style and location. The room had a great view ans comfortable furniture.

There was not option for self-parking, even though it was advertised. The valet parking was more expensive, and we had to wait two hours to retrieve our car on Sunday (thanksgiving weekend). The in-room service was expensive and they send everything in disposable packages.

The view was amazing and the location was so convenient!

Valet was horrendous on checkout day. Took almost 2 hours to get my car.

Aussicht auf den Fluss Mississippi, das Bett war recht bequem, Lage des Hotels sehr gut, man bekommt lange am Abend noch an der Pelikan Bar etwas zu essen, die Preise sind hierbei auch noch relativ normal.

Überall im Hotel war es viel zu kalt, oft hat es gezogen, der Teppich im Zimmer ist nicht besonders hygienisch, die Dusche in der Badewanne war eine Zumutung - der "Einhandhebel" ist leider unbrauchbar, meist viel zu heiß dass man sich verbrüht und man kann es nicht kälter stellen. Die Hälfte des Personals beim Frühstück war relativ unhöflich.

Location was great. Check in and valet were quick and easy.

It was quite loud. Interior noise, street noise were all very very noticeable. Also the phone rang once at 2 am. Bathroom also lacked a fan, which made it muggy and unpleasant after the whole family showered

The property is conveniently located. It was selected as one of the two hotels for the event that I came to town to participate in. The bell service was excellent.

Inappropriately charged my card for a price different than what was the booking price guaranteed all inclusive of expenses. That was bad enough, but they charge that amount while continuing to also place the original hold that was implemented resulting in double billing to my account. Contacting the team to try to get this resolved with a complete total, very frustrating run around. I was originally redirected to the national number. The national number told me to call the hotel and ask for the general manager. It’s required me to call back to the hotel at the number I originally called and was connected to National. When I followed the National operators instructions, however, it was just more runaround. It took seven tries contacting back to the main desk only to reach a department manager. She was more interested in interrupting me and making excuses for why this was justified and actually helping. She clearly couldn’t understand why I felt it was inappropriate for Marriott to continue to have a hold placed on my account while simultaneously charging me for the room. They don’t seem to acknowledge that the hold is obtained at the time of check-in in return for the promise that it will be immediately removed and replaced with the actual charges owed. This is basically converting money because it is retain for their use and denied for the customers. Aside from the frustration and run around that I received getting this far, her promise to remove the hole and correct the charges still is not implemented two hours after the promise was made. In other words, they still wrongfully keeping my funds. To get this far, I’ve already wasted $795 of my time, which is more than they were entitled to charge me in the first place. By the time I was done talking to her my frustration understandably, was increased rather than decreased.

It was nice I loved it

Easy check in..comfy room, friendly concierge (Greg I think was his name), nice Gym/Pool (wish was heated)... Great Location! And although may seem minimal... The elevators were great!!!!!

Wish there was a hot tub!!!!!! Also, Not a fan of starbucks in general, but the one in hotel was super slow... could probably be more efficient (especially since coffee in rooms was not great either.) Also, would be nice to have a fridge in the rooms.

Very safe location. We were about 2 blocks from Bourbon Street. Hotel was very nice.

Parking was $50 per day. Had to pay for Wi-Fi. No complimentary breakfast, no refrigerator or microwave in the room.

Room was nice and comfortable.

I was overcharged for my room with excess fees that no one could explain upon check out. Now am having difficulty getting these charges reversed and/or accounted for. No one seems to be able to answer these questions re: my Venmo Visa charge usage.

Conveniently located if you don’t care to stay right on Bourbon St since there’s a lot more to Nola, staff was amazing and very helpful, Starbucks in the lobby, very affordable option, clean lobby and room with extremely fast automated elevators, ice machine in working order (Americans like a lot of ice), laptop safe in room (this is nonnegotiable).

Since it was a few dollars cheaper than the Marriott across the street, it wasn’t as quiet as the Marriott usually is, but it’s a party town and people come here to have fun, so that’s not a problem though I remember the Marriott had better soundproofing. I wish the windows opened for fresh air, that’s something to think about in the future.

No bags for trash cans also we had some hair left behind on the bath floor and tub area but overall the room was clean and nice!!!
