Pet friendly, staff was courteous

Mold in the shower and around ac vent.central ac not operational instead you have a window unit that is so loud it will prevent you from sleeping. No turn down service on 3 night stay. Hotel was under renovation which we knew in advance however it is not priced accordingly. We paid $289/night for a dingy room and zero hotel amenities (no bar, restaurant, or pool) we were forced to select that hotel because we were traveling with out dog but we put my mom at the luminary hotel which is 2 blocks away, brand new for $279/night. Never again will I stay at this hotel or this chain.

The Location of the hotel was great and in the convenient spot in Downtown Fort Myers for visiting different restaurants and shops, also the staff was very friendly!

I have been coming to this hotel for 8 years now and have stayed over a dozen times. I always found the hotel to be very unique and such a great value! However, this last visit was extremely disappointing, especially since I was bringing out-of-town guests to show them Downtown Fort Myers and was very excited to treat them to a nice hotel in a great area. The carpet and general areas around the hotel need major updating, stains on the carpet on the second floor are an eyesore and surprising for the overall price paid. I am not sure if I was just placed on a bad floor or if there has not been upkeep in the past 1.5 years, but the room and other common areas underdelivered on expectations, especially based on the price. The sheets in the bed were very rough and uncomfortable as well. As someone who was born and raised in Fort Myers and lived there for over 20 years, I have seen the downtown area grow tremendously and have loved staying in Hotel Indigo and not only because it was the only option. I really hope the management and corporate begin updating and taking it seriously because with a new competitor down the road and another one coming up soon, I'd hate to see this hotel get a bad rep.
